  • Bravissimo has a great selection for big boobs. They have actual shops but not many of them. My favourite bra is Panache Sports - I'm a 30H and it's amazing. Online there's boobydoo - they merged with a site I love and I'm pretty sure it's the same service. Easy returns, helpful and incredible selection. Although I've…

  • I was determined not to be big for my 30th birthday. I made the promise to myself on my 27th birthday - at my 28th I was probably bigger. I was 30 last month, I'm down almost 50lb! (SW 196) It took me two years, because I did it slowly and it was so much easier. I never had to do a big deficit or worry about one meal. I…
  • If you are new to treadmills don't do what I did trying one last week - went at my desired pace (rather than one I can really run at comfortably) and forgot that unlike the road, the inclines aren't followed by downhill so hilly routes on a treadmill might be harder than real life! I run regularly and that knackered me.…
  • My running shoes: current Nike Vomero 10. Super comfy! They are already getting a bit worn, when I saw these brighter ones on discount I couldn't resist (Nike Vomero 11) Mega comfy!
  • Not many of my friends have said anything, but I'm ok with that. It's not the basis of our friendship! A couple have complimented clothes or said I look good in something which I think is more flattering. I got told I didn't need to calorie count at work, I've changed jobs a few times so they don't know the before - some…
  • I did it in the time. Some were ugly and if I thought it was going to be hard I picked easier routes (downhill or flat). At the time I drove to work, and basically sat at a desk or sat at home and didn't do much. I was running around 12 min/mile when I finished, I've read about people doing it slower too. It's more about…

  • I would say yes - I do a short mainly calisthenics/8kg kettlebell workout (I got a cheap kettlebell on an offer and it's my only weight). 50s effort exercise and 10s rest and I've noticed my arms taking on a nicer shape and feeling a bit stronger. My form is improving for push-ups too. I suppose the only disadvantage is…
  • I went from totally sedentary and overweight and completed this. It's tough, but it's doable. It's really worth it! I went through each week pushing myself to complete the three in a week, and I booked a 5k place at the end - that's worth doing too, you could pick something like a park run to keep your focus.

  • I like the nutribullet (it was a gift, so I didn't look at any others!) but it states it isn't dishwasher safe. The motor sure (it's easy to rinse and wash) - but the plastic cups "accidentally" (aka my boyfriend decided he didn't fancy washing them) went into the dishwasher and look just fine. It blends ice and frozen…
  • Screen name: berolcolour Goal for August 31st: (26!) 142 July 22nd (starting weight): 152.2 July 29th: 150.4 August 5th: 149.4 August 12th: 151.2 August 19th: 148.6 August 26th: 146.8 August 31st: none :# on vacation! I work in St/lb so getting under 10st 7 is a big win for me!
  • I haven't done Crossfit since I moved, but I started as a beginner to any kind of fitness - I loved it. People were so encouraging and helpful, it has a community spirit too. I did try it at a regular gym (globo-gym) but struggled to get the equipment together and ended up doing non-weighted ones like cindy. Also I love…
  • I log in advance any meals I'm planning, then spend the rest of the week deleting and moving things around. With the copy meal function and saving meals I don't find it takes up too much time. I don't feel like I have to stick to it, but if I thought I was having a 400kcal lunch and a 600kcal option looks good, I'll know…
  • I've given up quite a few things or reduced them out of my diet. But vanilla syrup in my morning coffee - I only put a small amount but I just can't resist. (I don't count it, or the milk!)
  • I find the interface with other apps is pretty good. The only thing is I think they all translate the pace. So mine is always rounded down (a 9:41min mile becomes 9:00) which can throw the calories off a little in MFP. I know some people adjust the time until it fits with whatever app or they are using (especially people…
  • Well done for not going all the way back up! The first time I lost I went back up and over (oops!) and I recently got sidetracked (lazy) and gained 9lbs, losing weeks of progress. But that's behind me now, and within a few months your 178 will be a distant memory.
  • I use Runkeeper! :/ Sorry.
  • By sprints - they aren't usually flat out, more push a bit faster. I think I get comfortable in long runs and don't keep pushing my pace, and this prompts me to get used to running a bit faster. I find even with the walking my overall pace for intervals is comparable to my pace for 10k. So week one is (Day1) 10 min run (2…
  • I'm in the UK and swim regularly. I think it's the confidence of the top remaining in place that puts me off, but I don't think bikinis are unacceptable and I regularly see women in thin triangle held together with string bikinis and it's not a problem either. Now the guys in long baggy surfing shorts struggling to do laps…
  • My 10k time is slow but improved by using a (free) interval app. Three days a week: one is a 10k, the other two have sprint intervals. It helped me, it's 8 weeks in total but I've improved in 4 weeks so far. It's called 10k pacer but I'm sure there are similar programs out here.
  • Completely agree with jmwilson85 - it's hard to change everything at once. I didn't add exercise in until about 3months of consistent logging - and then I started slow. I didn't gain weight overnight so I didn't expect to lose it quickly!

  • My boyfriend has asked me to stop poking my ribs. I can't help it! They feel so weird, in a good way!
  • Peas, raspberries, broccoli and blackberries are my go-to for a fibre boost.
  • I think wheat products and therefore gluten are added to loads of things. So for fish fingers they would be in the batter or breadcrumbs and breadcrumbs (or rusk) is mixed into sausage meat they should say on the packaging in the ingredients anything with wheat/gluten so you could tell. So meat and fish on their own are…
  • Going to another country and realising sizing is different - but more than expected. I got looked up and down when I said I was a medium in France and told to try a large (I'm a small!) but she was right. I'm a French large, I can't imagine what a French small looks like! New people (I have a new job) who haven't seen you…
