  • Are you having hunger issues or craving issues? My tear inducing cravings went away after 3 weeks.. I am 45lbs down and I probably could mess it all up in a few days. I get fuller quicker but I eat super slow and drink an obnoxious amount of water before and after my meals. The first 3 weeks sucked and it felt like I was…
  • When I want to binge I make myself drink at least 50oz of water and if I still want to eat I have a small amount of what I want. And then back to 50 more oz and if I still want more I have a little more. After about 30oz of water the thought of food usually is out of my mind
  • I have tried to take as much joy out of eating as possible with emotions. I eat to meet a specific goal. When I go over or under I get a bit tizzy. I still eat ice cream and crap food when I want if it fits my budget.
  • So you were just being redundant and stating the obvious? That makes sense. Can't say I have seen anyone here say that phen causes weight loss without a calorie deficit (aside from the 1200 calories of carbs comment) but I may be missing something.
  • Apparently you think I said a lot more than I actually posted originally. The risks aren't worth it to you. It was well worth it to me. I was offered WLS by my team of doctors and it was not worth the risk to me but it is worth the risk to MANY others who are morbidly obese. Unfortunately you don't get to decide what is…
  • Essentially that is every drug on the market. My thyroid pills can cause heart damage and seizures.. and they do. You still are not making any valid counterpoints to anything I said. The OP asked for experiences on the drug. I am sorry that I didn't have an awful experience and can speak from a neutral point of view.…
  • I am pretty sure I didn't say I lost all of my weight due to phen ;) Just because someone has a host of side effects doesn't mean every person will. Just because someone gains all the weight back when they get off phen doesn't mean everyone will. See how that logic goes? Aides are not necessary to YOUR weight loss. I don't…
  • Mmm yeah that's false. I used it (half pill) for only a week after my first binge 30 days into losing weight and I've not had any issues since that binge 7+ weeks ago. Zero side effects for me. Definitely curbed my cravings because I was ready to go back to eating bad and giving up even though I had already lost 25+…
  • Diet A&W, store brand drink packets (10cals) in raspberry lemonade and the sparling ice drinks but my grocer has a store brand so that's what I get. I don't taste a difference between then. I try to drink at least 3L of plain water every day in addition to the other drinks but it's miserable.
  • I gained 60+lbs in under 2 months after being on the depo shot. I over ovulate and only have 1 ovary. I had positive experiences with ortho tricylin-lo helping me losing weight. I didn't experience any weight gain with the patch or implant. Hormones are a funky thing and it can definitely cause weight retention. I would…
  • Yes.. it can make a huge difference down the line once losses start slowing. Measuring cereal and fruit with cups is tricky because not every piece of fruit is going to be the same size. How on earth would you measure a cup of carrots? Chopped? Smushed? Whole? Stringed? If you want an idea of if you're supposed to use a…
  • I did 2 days ago and I was up almost 9 pounds overnight.. very discouraging but today I am down 10.5lbs. I probably won't weigh until Friday now
  • isle of wight!
  • I think generally mine are 200-350
  • I posted this on the debate forums about diet pills: My cousin has compulsive eating habits (an entire bag of crisps, an entire block of cheese, an entire 2litre, etc) and the cousin also have mental disabilities that make it hard for them to understand food portions/control. Doctors have put them on Belviq and a few…
  • I have read if you are within that range that maybe you should set your goals less aggressive.. maybe lose .5-1 pound per week so you can eat more but still lose at a safe rate. The way MFP works (if that is what method you're using for weight loss) is eating exercise calories back. You can start at 50% and see how your…
  • My cousin has compulsive eating habits (an entire bag of crisps, an entire block of cheese, an entire 2litre, etc) and the cousin also have mental disabilities that make it hard for them to understand food portions/control. Doctors have put them on Belviq and a few others.. they will lose 20-30lbs, get off the pills and…
  • I never really drank soda as a child, teen or young adult but now for some reason I am LOOOOOVING Diet A&W root beer! It tastes like HEAVEN. I feel like a sell out buying 12 packs AND a 2litre at the same time. But so so good.
  • I always lose 10lbs when i take it. It kicks my appetite and gives me energy. Is your logging tight?
  • Yes. I paid 20 bucks to participate in one at work.. and the winner gets almost $500. The winner from last year lost 13.5lbs.. and I have lost 22lbs with another 6 weeks to go!
  • 2 over easy eggs with 3 turkey sausage links.. under 250 calories. And so good!
  • I took a half dose for 7 days after a binge to get myself back on track. I lost 5 pounds that week and have sustained my losses since then. I didn't experience any bad side effects (not even fty mouth) nor did cravings come roaring back once I stopped.
  • You don't have to eat them all. You can just add more calories for tomorrow and treat yourself! I sometimes find it hard to get all 1200 in me in one day. I do sometimes get a strong craving for high calorie food and use those calories for that later in the week
  • I have a LOT to lose so it fell off within a week. 5lbs in a little over a month is great for the weight you started at and your goal!
  • I have around 170lbs to lose at 5'5. I am down 40 so far.
  • Is that a rule on the site?
  • I'll add you! I live in Hampton Roads (think VA Beach, Norfolk, ETC) and I am a full time student, worker, and single mother :) The logging gets less tedious the more you do it (to me) and meal prep can be fun. You can do it!
  • Usually every day... I was baaad on Friday so I won't weigh myself again until this Wednesday or so!
  • That sounds like a good idea but they're quite pricy at the YMCA I go to. I am hoping once I am adorable enough I can just walk up to one of the guys or girls in the weight room and ask them to help XD
  • I need to start weight training but I am intimidated by the huge guys in the weight section, gahhh. The cable machines are always taken and honestly I have social anxiety.. waiting for a machine to clear makes me feel sick
