  • You are very right. Since I am going to use the the extra half hour they open early compared to the other. I calculated that it is only about $1 more per workout day to get the extra time. So, that isn't too bad. I am almost late some days with losing that half hour.
  • I like cashew milk.
  • Thank you so much everyone for sharing! I look forward to making a decision soon:)
  • This is very similar to the more expensive option for me.
  • My husband and I are talking about doing the same thing, but it will take awhile. This way we could work out together. Your home gym sounds great!
  • Looks like a great place to really learn weightlifting. I couldn't find anything like that near me, or they had weird hours.
  • Waterslides? I would certainly use the pool there!
  • Wouldn't that be great! Blow out for my hair too. There is a discount for the spa services. LOL
  • Yes, all the bells and whistles. I am looking to work out near Moorestown NJ to be close to work.
  • HaHa...love them. I know it is a lot of $. My Y opens at 5:30 and I am almost late for work getting there then. I am going to check out a few of the chains you all are mentioning too.
  • I hear you. The one I like less is $57/month, so still high. The pricier one is super fancy. They have all of the free weight equipment I want though and like I said, I could use an extra half hour earlier in the morning.
  • At least 5lb. for me, if I am luckly. The weight stays for 5 days and then is gone the next morning.

  • I like it:)
  • Love the mexican dip idea! Can't wait to try for an easy dinner:)
  • I forgot about Chia seeds. I have some already. Thanks @awkwarsoul
  • Thanks so much, everyone. Sounds like I will have a little shopping trip soon:)
  • We do the Salad-In-A-Jar. Use a quart size mason jar and place measured oil and balsamic in first. Then layer in veggies that won't get soggy in dressing, like tomato or peppers. Next layer is your lettuce. Then some avocado and your protein on top. For us, the protein is usually from last night's dinner. When you are…
  • I am trying to stick to the same macros as you. How do you get your fiber? I am having a real hard time with this.
  • Thank you everyone for helping with this. I am really excited to be back at the strength training. Your responses are great. I am going to keep playing with the macros and see how I feel. I will probably start keeping track of my mood and energy level so I can look back and adjust accordingly.
  • Thanks Llamapants86. I am only doing strength training at home right now without the correct equipment for SL. I am having a hard time finding the right gym. Once I am fully into routine, I will keep in mind that carbs may need to be higher on the lift days.
  • Thanks Sumiblue, I have heard that too low carb is hard for lifting. I am going to brainstorm what carbs I like. I could do some bananas on bread with almond butter. Do you actually set up your macros in mfp? If so, do you mind sharing with me what they are at?
  • I find if I eat some high protein on my way home like beef jerky or something it works. Then by the time I get home, I am not craving everything I see. If I come home and eat something with high sugar or carbs, it is all over!
