I use the Sonys with the ear loops as well, but I decided to go modular with my set up and got a Bluetooth receiver for in the event I wanted to go remote. depends on the condiment. If a significant source of fat or carbs, then yes. For instance, I log light mayo, salsa, and salad dressings, but not Franks Red Hot.
