Hi Sheila, I also suffer from PCOS since I was 16,I'm 29 now.The best lifestyle for pcos is low carb. Being on low carb has helped me lose weight and get my levels back to normal. I was also put on metformin.As far as recipes there is a low carb group on here & pinterest has tons of low carb recipes to choose from.:)

Aww thank you! I do my whole lifestyle has changed. It's the hardest thing i had to do in my life but its so worthwhile. I still have more to lose but i wouldn't ever go back to that woman I was before.

Thank you:) If you asked me on day 1 do i think i can lose almost 100lbs in under a year..i would think your crazy. Small goals really helped me,don't look at 70lbs,break it down to 10lbs at a time. Added you on here..lets lose 70lbs together!

Thank you! You can do it! Just put your mind to it. One day at a time. Dont look at the big number, break if down to 20lbs at a time. It helps keep you motivated and trying to hit those 20lb goals.

Hi I was put on 2100 but i never came close to hitting that. Most days i stay around 1300 calories. It varies...after the first few weeks you dont feel as hungry. Between the protein and water you feel stuffed! I did low carb i was eating about 20carbs a day but my dr had me increase it to 75-100carbs daily.i still lost…

Hi- I started out getting on metformin for pcos. The first week without any diet change I lost about 7lbs. After I started a low carb diet. I got rid of breads,soda and all processed junk .
