The way the Fitbit App tracks calories burned seems fine and makes sense to me. It shows total calories burned for the day, which I assume amortizes out base metabolic rate calories burned throughout the day, and then adds additional calories burned through exercise to the total. I'm in. I started my diet this past Sunday, so I drop a n lb or two by the 6th. I weighed 238 on Sunday, so 20 pounds Weill get me below 220, with 20 pounds left to go.
