I personally know three people who have successfully and safely had this surgery in Mexico. The caveat is this - they live near the border and took their time checking it out. They have a family and support system that went with them. It was still a lot of money. I did not meet any of these three until several years after…

The gf hot lava cake was a hit. I took Pamela's gf chocolate cake mix (very good to start with). I whipped two eggs, melted a large 72% chocolate bar and a stick of butter and mixed that with the cake mix and eggs and 1/3 cup water. I split this into 8 ramekins. I put water around the ramekins in a baking dish and baked…

Daughter and I chose sleeping in over a hike. We will go for a run shortly. I confess: I slept in, and spent a good part of this morning googling gf chocolate lava cake recipes. I discovered I must go to Cost Plus World Market for more ramekins. Not that I need more than four, but I need enough to hold all the cake batter.…

Nice. I'm heading to bed.

No judgement.
-
Yes! Thank you both.

Good luck. Have fun.

Son is on the mend. His ear stopped bleeding. Infection is decreasing and only ear canal was damaged. He didn't puncture his ear drum.

It sounds like you had a wonderful day overall!!!
-
Noooo. I hope it is not too long.

What you bought sounds wonderful - but nothing on your list is safe for me so I can't give you a pre-review review. They do make a very solid gf frozen waffle. I prefer their PB to all others (just peanuts and salt). They have a few frozen items I buy once in awhile. Their 72% chocolate in the red wrapper is my daily…

I do about half my shopping in TJ's and have since 1991. They are pretty gf friendly. I hope you got things you like. They have the best price of dried fruits and nuts. They have the best price on some other specialty foods that are safe for us to eat. :)

I was vegetarian 20 years and Vegan for 5. I'm still mostly vegan except butter, honey and 1-2 meals a week that have meat. Mostly with TK. I love hummus and guac and nuts but don't do breads even gf beads.

Son is slowly healing. I ran home to head off a melt down. He's a very smart kid with some very big challenges. <3 Busy day here

I'm going to try to do something productive (dishes, laundry, maybe gym), so sweet dreams all! I'm glad this day is crossed off the calendar!

He is very focused on spacial relationships. He noticed the angle of the tweezers to the wick to his ear and (perhaps his OCD?) suggested the doctor line them up differently. Doctor is terrific and has a special needs boy of her own. She listened and tried it and it was easier.
-
Thanks. He's a trooper and a pretty tough kid. He's had a very long medical history. I was proud of how well he did today. He was great even though he was running a fever, bleeding from a painful ear and kept waiting 2.5 hours.
-
I agree with this.
-
Yeah. Kind of amusing though, he told the doctor to hold the tweezers differently as she put the ear wick in. She listened to him and held them differently and she said it worked better.
-
Thanks Kelly.
-
Because you are pretty. Because he doesn't care if you are married? Because he's collecting friends. It is just a really weird message.
-
Thanks sis.

His ear was congested. It likely had an ear infection building. In the middle of the night it bothered him so he found a q tip (which I have hidden but daughter left out yesterday what are the odds really?) and scratched his ear canal. It has been bleeding all day. Doc can't see all of eardrum due to bleeding. Treating as…
