  • Yum!!! Cheese Baked Zucchini
  • I have to side with you on that one. Don't get me wrong. I wouldn't mind going to get groceries after work to help since I'm already up. But the least others can do is be a host to you and be respectful of you hosting them. Simply asking instead of sending the list would've been nicer and even offering to help keep up with…
  • Apparently I need to move over one town and work with ya'll. That's over $4/hr difference from what I make. And I'm dealing with Fayetteville....seriously..... I can't complain too much about student loans. I started out with 4k, im down to 2.4k. But I still have a few years of school left, plus bills, plus a bad car…
  • Wait wait wait...not sooooo fast. Are they water resistant/proof? If so....welcome aboard.
  • @jennifer_417 How about we leave sorting out the drug cartels to our new team member @bethanie0825. Afterall, I already agreed to attempt the peace in middle east and bring a zebra pen. By the way, hell yeah to the gunmetal and silver. Or black with the diamond sparkle. They all sound good. For beverage, I'll have to stick…
  • Hmmm...you drive a hard bargain. But I'll return if the following conditions are met: 1: The pencil case must be returned. We will re-work the plan with a zebra pen 2: I will restore the peace to the middle east if you will restore capital punishment for all death sentence felons and anyone that abuses children 3: We must…
  • Sounds like before your new rules @bethanie0825 and I wouldve been taking more calls/reports for your location lol. And I can see where that would make a huge difference in your quality of guests. I wish more places around here would adopt those policies if for no other reason than to help clean them up. @jennifer_417…
  • Wish there was a like/love button feature....just for this.
  • @bethanie0825 Ya'll got to hook up the HDMI from the laptop? Im massively jealous. That would be awesome for those quiet zones in the early am on night shift. we can read, write, knit, etc. Basically as long as it doesn't take away from our work and doesn't involve electronic devices. Ya'll are derf right about how easy…
  • Im massively jealous. Yall get to watch stuff at your center? We cant have electronics out and the tvs in the room are to monitor the bldg and for news only.
  • So much this. Ps I miss yall over here on my slammed day shift/mommy routine. Hope everyone is doing well. Im gonna attempt to read a few of the (over 300!!! Holy cow.....) posts to the thread.
  • With all due respect, I have been in that position. I didn't say go out and blow rent or bill money on a scale. What I mentioned was an 8$ scale that is well worth the money whenever they can afford it. Even if that's six months from now. Also try cutting out processed foods (its easier said than done), try to get at least…
  • This soooo true. Prime example, I just had a can of Starkist tuna (in water) which the label claims has 5oz. I weighed and it only had 3oz. Had I counted the entire container without weighing I would've been saying I ate more than I did. Usually this is a reverse but it still makes a difference (whether good or bad) to…
  • Just adding to the post: A food scale drastically helps. And if you can set aside even 10$ at some point I would highly recommend this scale: http://www.walmart.com/ip/39520484 I didn't have 20-50$ to spare for a food scale either when I started but this scale cost 7-8$, had free shipping, and is a true gem! Think about a…
  • I think they're pretty awesome actually. Its just a bunch of physical fitness obstacles with some sprints in between and burpees if you cant complete the challenge. To me I don't see a serious risk of injury unless there's no way you can physically complete the obstacles and in that case, why would you intentionally put…
  • Just to update everyone, there have been a lot of reasons (mostly excuses---but a few valid reasons) that I have not been actively training since this post. I still go approx 3 days a week for strength training. But that's not nearly the same as going 5x a week and with cardio. Our trainer also canceled her participation,…
  • Oh and for things such as apple or anything similar, I weigh my apple, eat what I want, then weight the leftover core. Example the gala apple I just ate was 233 grams total. Afterwards, the core was 63 grams. So subtract the final from the beginning and I'm adding 170 gram gala apple to my log.
  • For anyone that doesn't have a scale with the capacity to weigh the entire meal before/after its prepared....just a suggestion... Place it as one serving when you do the recipe builder and then measure out the amount you (and others) consume either in measuring cups or weight (however you choose). Then measure whatever you…
  • In all honesty you look great in that suit. So unless its too small in the rear.....go rock it!!! Congrats on your loss.
  • Their double chopped chicken salad is delicious. I love their subs but it takes a chunk out of my daily allowance.
  • I used to go 5x a week. 4 days of strength training and cardio. 1 day of cardio. For the last month, or two....i've only been going 2 or 3 times a weeks. Usually strength training and cardio or if I have limited time it's only strength training. It's better than nothing at all.....but it's not nearly as good as the 5x/week…
  • So this weekend I went shopping with my mom (something I used to hate because of our size difference) not only was it pleasant to spend time with her and just shop but I didn't get that normal feeling of depression for being so overweight, I actually enjoyed it. I bought mostly large's and even fit a pair of size 12 shorts…
  • This is adorable. We've noticed our son trying to carry around the weighted plates. He can carry the 10lb ones and he'll be 2 next month. Man does he give mommy a run for her money some days!
  • @lilaclovebird enjoy all that overtime while you can, may suck not seeing your new guy as much as you would've, but all that hard work and that bank account will def pay off. I could go for some overtime. It would help with the bills (healthy groceries cost sooo much more than junk), the toddler, and trying to go back to…
  • Day 1 for this thread; day 70 for mfp: I have a cami that fits. And our family woke up. We're all a little under the weather (either sinus' or sick, we aren't sure yet)... but we woke up and were able to give one another kisses before heading off to work/daycare.
  • @Frankie_Felinius That story is awesome. If you have the video please post or message it to me.
  • No they totally expected you to magically make a spot appear. Thats how life works afterall, people snap their spoiled fingers and expect a response that will satisfy them that exact second. Other people don't exist. *eye roll* gotta love em
  • Yep, one popping up right now. Again, still on days for a few weeks then back to nights. Good to see another one! Hope everyone is doing well and having sweet dreams (or enjoying their day off)
  • Depends on the brand/ who makes them French Vanilla Cappuccino
  • @workoutgrl87 Yes it would be my first and by team, one of the trainers plan to run up ahead and lead the team while another stays with the very last person, we may get scattered, but the point is we'll never be alone or finish alone, they want us to finish as a team. Part of me feels like with the 3 months, id have a…
