But you're losing weight. :| It's been 2 weeks, how much did you expect to lose in 2 weeks?
-
Every bodies weight fluctuates every day. Body weight isn't stagnant.
-
Wait a min... so you are only eating 980 calories daily? How long have you been eating so little? Have you lost any weight?
-
Good for you but it's still more about how much you're eating than what you're eating. It's all good to try to eat healthier, more fruits, veggies, etc but you will gain weight even if you're eating "healthier" if you don't track how MUCH you're eating.
-
You should focus more on how much you're eating than how much you're exercising.
-
What's your calorie limit?

Common newbie problem.

Just jumping in to say cool new profile pic! :)

He shouldn't eat, he should just watch me eat.

Neither.

She says she's vastly under her calorie goal almost all the time in her original post.

Eat. It's not that hard to eat to the minimum 1200 calories. If you're eating "healthy" or "clean" then add some "unhealthy" or "unclean" foods to get your calories up.

There was a thread here the other day and the OP thought you could completely rid your body of "water weight". :D

Good! I'm happy to hear that! Just a couple of small suggestions: If you aren't already, use a food scale to weigh/measure your portions. You don't have to do it forever (unless you want to that is) but using a food scale gave me a better understanding of portion sizes. Be patient - don't cut too dramatically, imo it just…

Weight gain is more about how MUCH you're eating than what you're eating. I eat a lot of foods that people would say is "bad" and I still lose weight. I'm losing weight eating white rice, I'm losing weight eating fried chicken, I'm losing weight eating all of the same foods I've always eaten except I make sure to…

True. Every person I know who's had gastric bypass (4 co-irkers) have all gained the weight back and more. Is there any type of education about food, weight gain, etc after people have this surgery?
-
I totally agree.
-
You can. How much weight do you have to lose? How is it hard eating to your calorie goal?
-
There are none. You can't spot reduce. This thread may be helpful: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1161603/so-you-want-a-nice-stomach/p1 You don't have to read the whole thread, the most relevant info is in the first post.

How long have you been having trouble losing weight? Have you lost any weight?
-
I'm not going to give advice re: switching bc. I will say that BC's probably aren't hindering your weight loss. Would like a little more info like whats your calorie goal? height, current weight?

I had one of those days last week, I actually ate 2 lunches at work. :D Looking back on it, it didn't do any damage at all.

Lot of not true things here but ok. OP - I go over my carbs frequently and it hasn't hindered my weight loss. Just an FYI - weight loss isn't always linear, there will be some weeks will you will not lose. That does not mean that you have to change anything just yet.
-
If I'm having a bad day I just roll with it and start over again tomorrow. I don't let 1 bad day completely derail my progress or motivation.
-
That's not a real standstill. Weight loss isn't linear, there will be some weeks where you will not lose, some weeks where your weight may go up.
-
Daily weighing isn't for everyone. It's good that you know it's not for you.
-
Walking doesn't = weight loss.

Instead of trying to create your own program why not try an already established program like Starting Strength, Strong Lifts, New Rules of Lifting, etc? There have been a lot of success stories from these established programs alone.

This.
