It's not.

Where are you learning that you can speed up fat loss? Is it from a credible source?
-
Ikr! I feel bad for hijacking the OP's thread :'(

I have no idea why you're not losing, I've seen you vent this frustration before. Even if you are 75% accurate (and I use that word losely) with your intake you should be losing. Have you been to a Dr. to rule out any health issues? All I know is once I started accurately tracking my intake (meaning using a food scale) and…

Yes, there is. They probably eat way more when they're at home, they're inconsistent, they don't track their intake, they think eating salad and doing the elliptical for hours is enough, after doing the elliptical they decide to "treat" themselves to a snack because the elliptical said they burned 900 calories, but it's…

Damn! I live in NJ and work in Midtown, takes me 50 minutes and this is coming from out of state!
-
The fake bootea results pics all over the internet hasn't convinced you?
-
Hell yeah it's a badge of honor! I like not starving myself in order to lose weight. I feel bad for the people I know who are existing on lettuce and still haven't lost half the weight I've lost!!!

If you checked out the r/fitness forums on reddit you would notice that the men there eat 1500 calories or more even when they're cutting. Here's a few examples: https://www.reddit.com/r/Fitness/comments/42nydi/m_2057160lbs_just_started_cutting_after_a/…

How do you track your calories? Do you use a food scale?
-
:|

I eat 1500-1600 calories every day and still lose. I have MFP set up to lose .5 lbs a week and I'm right on track.
-
Why not try to fit it into your calorie goal sometimes?
-
Why tho??

I'm a daily weigher and I track my weight with an app called happy scale so I can see the fluctuations and my weight trending downward. That said, If I were you I would just pick one of the numbers, log it and move on. I wouldn't stress too much about it because I realize weight isn't static and as long as my weight is…

I thought it was a joke too, I actually LOL'ed when I read it. Maybe we're the only ones who got the joke.
-
And you're starving? What are you eating?
-
It's Tuesday, don't start panicking yet. Could be water weight.
-
My generic advice - weight gain from a new exercise regime.
-
Who is it? So that way if they try to add me I'll just decline. :D
-
You are right, I read it and it hasn't convinced me that calorie counting PLUA real life feedback over time (your words and I like them so I may use it again!) doesn't work. lol
-
Nothing to really wonder about unless you're wondering why people think they work. They don't work. If they really worked there would be no need for weight watchers, mfp, etc.

I just tried to watch it even tho I saw rabbit's post... I couldn't make it past 10 seconds, dem nipples are too damn distracting. :D :#

Use a food scale to track your intake.

I'm 45 and losing weight just fine, but I don't have an aggressive deficit going on. I set my goal at .5 lbs a week and meet it easily when I'm on track. By on track I mean logging all foods, logging as accurate as I can using a food scale, being consistent with my exercise and intake, having realistic weight loss…

Right?!! A whole 8 hours, 5 days a week like the majority of people here. OP I work 8 hours a day 5 days a week in an office sitting on my butt the majority of the day. I get up at 5 am to work out for about an hour. I eat breakfast at home and bring my lunch to work. I've managed to lose weight working the same amount of…

Tighten up your logging, if you aren't using a food scale to weigh/measure all food and drinks start using one now. The closer you get to your goal, the more consistent you need to be with your intake. Also, you should look into a progressive strength training program like strong lifts, nrolfw, strong curves or starting…
