• Oh, I know that feeling :D Great job mixing up your workouts though! I think it's good to change things up every now and then so our bodies don't adapt/get too comfortable with the same old workouts. That's a great way to push ourselves and take it up a notch! I think I'm going to follow your lead and throw in some…
• Congratulations on your weight loss success! 60 lbs is impressive! I'm sure you already know, but remember sometimes our weight can fluctuate daily a couple lbs just from water retention or hormonal changes too. If you think it may be related to your food choices/intake, then this is a great opportunity to assess that and…
• @stella7x7 I added your weight to the spreadsheet.
• You're doing Great! Those plateaus can be frustrating, but your hard work and commitment to health and weight loss are paying off! One day at a time and we will get there! <3 As for me, I'm happy with my progress on this journey so far, but it takes a conscious effort, a lot of will power, and planning everyday to keep…

• Happy Monday to all you guys! Summer is coming! Count me in! My mini goals this week: 1. Workout minimum of 5 days this week. 2. Include at least 5 servings of fruits & veggies per day. 3. No Doritos! (They're like cryponite for me)
• Thanks for posting this! I bookmarked this one. Insightful with good information for this group!
•
What a great idea, I'm definitely going to try the "mini goals". You've done a fantastic job losing 20lbs!
Thanks! :) I definitely do better with the mini goals. I end up getting too overwhelmed with one BIG goal!

• Went for a 4.5 hour hike with my husband today. It was 35° F which was actually pretty comfortable to hike in. However, I could have done without the 10 inches of snow we got last week covering the trails. Made some of the climbing up/down and around the river bluffs slick! Love hiking though. I would get out there…

• Hello ladies! Hoping I can jump into this group with you guys. I love how active this tread is, which really helps me personally to stay motivated and on the right track! Hoping I can help and support you guys too. I'm 43 years old and have 40-50 lbs to lose at this point (I've lost about 20 lbs so far since Jan. 1st). I…
• Ummmm, actually what you're say is inaccurate. The pancreas has TWO functions: To assist in regulating blood glucose levels AND it releases digestive enzymes to help with food digestion. Two causes of pancreatitis (and there are others) can be excessive alcohol consumption and eating foods high in fat, which can trigger an…
• I agree with the above posts regarding anticoaggulation medications. Remember, it will be unique to that person, the type of stoke, and even financial factors as to which medication is the most appropriate. Aspirin (which is actually an antiplatelet) is often used for stroke prevention and heart health. However, aspirin is…
•
All I've been told is there is "no real answer" just listen to my body. But what if my body feels like I can run a marathon one day, that doesn't mean I should do it.
I'm sorry you are going through this. I'm also sorry to say (because understandably it's not what people want to hear), but there is 'no…
• Down about 20 lbs here since Jan. 1st & 2.5 lbs since our last weigh in. Did really well with staying within my calories, and eating back no more than half of my exercise calories. Also was pretty active last week too. Feels good! :D
• Great job! You look amazing! Your hard work has definitely paid off.
• Went on a 4 hour hike yesterday with my husband. We have several state parks near us and decided to trek out since it was finally warming up (45° F lol) and sunny. Not sure why we thought we'd tackle a 'Difficult' rated trail. But it was fun and we survived! Still quite a bit of snow and I thought I may fall to my death a…
• Thanks for sharing @Tolamarie! Congratulations on your weight loss success! <3 I really enjoyed the video in your post. Makes it hard to justify not getting 30 minutes of exercise in daily. I love the recipe builder option on MFP too. I've made many of my favorite meals (only healthier versions) using this tool.
• Congrats! That is an awesome feeling! I know exactly what you're saying. I recently completed week 3 of C25K too and I remember feeling like Rocky when he ran up those steps! Lol. Keep pushing through. It's sooooo worth it :)
• I feel that this challenge has helped me to be more accountable too. I started the first of the year at 198.8. As of Monday's weigh in, I'm at 182.8. I feel like I'm past the 'withdraws' or cravings for sweets and junk (I haven't had any junk food or diet sodas since Jan. 1st). Now craving healthy foods...I want more…
• Wow, 60+ lbs is fabulous! Congrats on your success...Very inspirational! <3 I think you're right, slow and steady is best for long term weight loss. Can wait to see how far everyone has come April 1st too.
• Going well here! I feel like I'm finally doing this the right way that's sustainable for me. Not a 'diet', but a lifestyle change. Working out most day including hiking, training with the C25K app, cross country skiing, and even threw it a couple of my old Tae Bo dvds. Lol. Happy with my dietary plan too. No added sugars.…
• That's awesome! Great to see that hard work paying off. Keep it up! :)
• I know that feeling! What has really helped me in those situations is to eat something healthy at home before we meet up with friends. Helps so I'm not wicked hungry when we get to the restaurant. Then I choose a salad or soup (or split a meal with someone) while we're out verses an entire meal of something loaded with…
