Don't give up! Just get back on the program and forget that month. Be determined! You CAN do this!!

I just started in December and have over 200 lbs. to lose. So far I've lost 65 lbs.. My problem is that I can't really exercise because of mobility issues. I can't wait to get to my first 100 lb. loss. Hoping to do it by the end of the year. It looks like you didn't have any sagging skin issues. How did you achieve that?…

I've been a type 2 diabetic since 1990. I've been insulin dependent since 2011. I eat 30-45 carbs per meal and 15 to 20 carbs for snacks. I've lost 58 pounds so far but cannot do much exercise because I have no cartilage in my knees. I did buy a hand bike so that's about all I can do at this point. I have over 200 lbs. to…

My moment was when my doctor told me I didn't have too long of a life left if I didn't lose weight and get my diabetes under control. Doctors kept trying to push gastric bypass surgery on me but I didn't want the possible side effects and I thought it was the easy way out. My Diabetic Educator wanted to change my insulin…

I've been taking pictures, but not at the same day of the month. That's a great idea! I don't feel like I've lost much weight, but I've lost 58 pounds. It's hard to see it on yourself

I'm looking forward to better health and being more active. Gotta give these old knees a break!

I usually go to sleep somewhere around 1 or 2 am

Since I'm a diabetic my snacks have to be 15 grams of carbs or less and less than 200 calories. I have at maximum of 2 snacks a day because I try to stick between 1200-1500 calories per day. I know that my MFP says more, but even my doctor and DE say I should eat around 1200. I can't exercise because I don't have cartilage…

I have a long journey ahead of me, but I'm taking it in small increments so I don't get overwhelmed. Altogether I have about 268 lbs. to lose. So far I've lost 56 lbs. and I started in December of 2014. I just try to concentrate on the small victories. I wish the best of luck to everyone!

Mine is open. Feel free to look

I usually take it one day at a time, sometimes one minute at a time. Since I don't trust myself to eyeball things right I measure and weigh everything. If I buy any snacks I get the 100 calorie packs for portion control. I'm not saying I don't mess up, but doing it the way I'm doing it cuts down on the mess ups. It's…

Hi! I'm a type 2 Diabetic and have been since 1990. In 2011 I was finally put on insulin shots. I messed around for years, cheating with sweets and my favorite drink was Diet Pepsi. In December of last year I told my diabetic educator I would quit cheating and be serious about getting my blood sugars under control. I…

Back in 1982 I did the same thing. I lost 130 lbs. and then eventually gained it all back, but for me all back and then some. When I started MFP I weighed 418 lbs. So far I've lost 53 lbs. and MFP seems to be really working for me. Keep your new resolve and get yourself on track again. Best of luck to you!

Sometimes things happen in a persons life that they just don't feel like commenting on things. I logged my calories, but did not comment on posts because my mom passed away on June 20th. Do you think I could be any kind of motivation to anyone? You should at least consider asking them if something is going on in their…

I have over 200 pounds to lose overall. I've lost 53 pounds so far and trying to stay positive. Things come up that put a lot of stress on a person and. unfortunately I don't deal well with stress. Even though I haven't done my best on a few days I'm back on track and won't give up. If you are determined enough and have…

Sorry I haven't been on here in a while. Things have been happening in my life that has really stressed me out. I haven't been as diligent as I should have been on my eating. My mom passed away on the 20th and my family and I have been trying to raise the money to bury her. We didn't have the money for a life insurance…

Thank you! I received your message but I can't copy and paste from my tablet. At least I don't think so

My husband is not trying to lose weight and I do all the shopping. I buy him ice cream, cookies and the like. For some unexplainable reason it doesn't bother me. I do ask that he keeps the cookies and non frozen stuff away from my sight. You unfortunately cannot force someone to take care of their health. She may say she…

My husband's name is Jason. The funny part is (if you are into Horror movies) we got married on Friday the 13th. :) It really doesn't matter to me if you don't have 200+ to lose if you want to add me that would be cool. The only reason I put that is because I have a lot to lose and making weight loss pals with someone who…

I live near Sacramento. It must be a lot cooler where you are at. Nice to meet you too! How long have you been using MFP? I'm fairly new

Hi! My name is Lore and I'm fairly new to MFP. Started my journey in December and have lost 51 lbs. and have about 217 left. I would love to join this group, but I cannot exercise because of my disabilities.
-
Back in 1982 I lost 130 lbs. on Weight Watchers. I probably would have joined again but I can't afford it.

My doctor wants me to eat around 1200 calories per day, but MFP says 1840. I try to eat between 1200-1500. Who else has that problem?
-
I feel guilty reading all of the posts of people exercising because I cannot. I'm proud of all of you though!

I'm trying to lose altogether 268 lbs. So far, since December I've lost 51 pounds. It's a long road to travel, but I'm taking my journey 10 lbs. at a time. I'm looking for friends to keep me company during our journey.
