  • Winter months in PA are generally my biggest struggle. I'm an outside person but hate the cold and the shorter hours of the day which makes me "hibernate". With that, I deal with Seasonal Affective Disorder. So far this year it's kept at bay with D supplements and exercise on the treadmill. My other downfall is the winter…
  • MFP Start: 264.4 CSW: 240.4 CGW: 220.4 UGW: 170 1/10: 234.4 1/17: 234.0 This week: -0.4 To go: 13.6 Overall: -6.4 Not much of a loss, but it's a loss. It probably didn't help that I made a "comfort" meal on Sunday. Those carbs get me every time. I did get started back on my treadmill this weekend. It's a slow start because…
  • @Parsniphead definitely what kayjosh said. I'm a walker and last fall what I thought was just my knee ended up being a cornucopia of other issues from my hip down that triggered it. Stretching and yoga is good right now to help build flexibility. My knee still isn't 100%, and I'm starting back on the treadmill for low…
  • We've got this @kayjosh2422! Let's get'r done!
  • I'm in!! I was so close last summer (8 lbs. away!) and life happened and I let it bamboozle me. Not this time! I probably won't make it this round, but I will be ready for the next challenge to hit that magical mark of ONEderland!

  • @kayjosh2422 that would be great! I should have been in ONEderland two challenges ago and bound and determined to get there this year. I doubt I'd make it this challenge, but it would be inspiring to see the ones getting there.

  • Hello! So glad to see another challenge! This will take me into 2 years for this group and happy to be a part of it. I didn't get to finish the last challenge as life happens came all at once for me. I've gained some back and have the mindset to get that and my remaining weight off and hit my goal. Regardless, I won't give…

Sunday I head out for a cruise vacation and won't be where I can weigh-in. At least when I get back I'll have a couple of days to get the salt flushed out…

  • Hi there! I'm Kristal and have been with this challenge group for a year and a half now. It's a fabulous bunch of people and so glad I found them! I failed the last challenge miserable as life seemed to decide to come at me 10 fold. Still have a lot going on between work and personal life, but I'm determined to keep…
  • I've bombed this challenge altogether but still hanging in there. Between a bum leg, going to PT for the last month or so, and prepping for a cruise, it's been rather trying. I plan on a final weigh in for this one and going to jump on the next challenge and hope I fair better.
  • I'm in for another challenge! Life has happened waaaay too much for this one but I'm hanging in there! For the most part, I'm maintaining right now. I was shooting for ONEderland this time, but even though I won't reach it this time, I'm not giving up on it. MFP Start: 264.4 CSW: 213.6 CGW: 193.6 UGW: 170 7/5: 213.6 7/12:…
  • @megannxx I use MapMyFitness app. I've compared the steps to my Garmin and they are fairly close each time.

Still at a negative loss, but skeptical of hitting my goal weight by the end of October. I'm going to…
  • Hope all goes well KayJosh!! Prayers!
  • I'll be weighing for week 7. With everything that has gone on in the last month, it was like a train wreck/hot mess mish-mosh! I know I've gained, but getting back on track and hopefully get close to the 20 lbs by the end of this challenge. What is even worse, I don't even remember what I started out at for this challenge.…
  • I'm back! The three weeks of crazy are over and when I returned home last week, ended up with a cold that went into bronchitis coupled with the allergies. Still dealing with the remnants of the bronchitis, but getting there. It's not been pretty. I am now working to get this train back on the track!

The next three weeks will be a roller coaster so to say as this Friday I fly to Florida to help my son and daughter in law move back to PA (driving) and then the…

  • Hi @AlisonG2! Yes, there will be a thread for each weekly weigh-in that you can post in as the challenge progresses. If you like to have your info on the spreadsheet too, but unable to access it, you can post in the spreadsheet thread and ask someone to enter it for you. Welcome to the group!
  • @Lilymay2 Congrats on the upcoming retirement!! It looks like you've already started on a plan and I'm sure adjusting to those extra 14 hours a day free time will work to your advantage! The change of routine might be what your body needs. :) Good luck!
  • @megannxx I feel it will. My Saturday deal shot me up 3 lbs. overnight and this morning I'm finally back down into range. Takes a little but it'll come back off. Rest up and drink plenty of water.
  • MFP Start: 264.4 CSW: 213.6 CGW: 193.6 UGW: 170 7/5: 213.6 Super excited for this challenge as it will put me into ONEderland! I haven't been there in about 28 years!! And crossing my fingers for minimal blips along the way. Here we go!!
  • Thank you @megannxx!
