With acknowledging your late night snacking is one of your habits you want to break, maybe try replacing what you have with healthy low cal veggies. Replace with celery, carrots, etc. Dinner time try to add more protein and fiber and less carbs to see if that might help stave off the late night snacking.

I'd rather go to a gym, but distance/time is challenging right now. I'm going to give myself another 30 lbs. and then join one. I know I need the strength training along with the cardio. I've been doing the elliptical--kickin' my butt! The weather, so far, looks favorable for a walk today. I get my treadmill next week and can't wait! It will help with the wacky weather we've been having. I have 61 lbs left to go to hit my goal weight.

@momto2lovelykids, I keep an eye on my percentages and try to keep below the 50% carbs and at or above the 20% protein (the fats usually work themselves out). Dinner is usually a protein and veggie.

I'll have to look into that DVD @Lilymay2. Pittsburgh weather seems to be either rain or cold or both. I have an elliptical I'm using at the moment, I pick up my treadmill next week. It's good to have alternatives! :smile:

I sucked it up and got on my elliptical. I think that is a love it or hate it machine. Lol. The weather went back to cold yesterday and continues today with wind chills in the teens. So I'm sure I'll be on it again today.

Mine is pretty basic :smile: *Stay within the allotted calorie limit that MFP gives me *High Protien, Low Carbs (I'm not on Atkins though) *Drink a lot of water *Exercise (I walk a lot, especially in the warmer months)
