I'm FINALLY down almost a pound. This is the first positive change I've seen since the beginning of the challenge. And since it's a pound down from my start weight, it's actually more than a pound for the past week since I gained a bit over Christmas. Woohoo!

I love sweet potatoes a couple of different ways. It's super easy to make healthy sweet potato fries by cutting up a potato, drizzling with 1/2 tbsp olive oil, sprinkling with salt, and baking at 400 for around 30 minutes (stir a few times). My go to method, though, is baking a few at the beginning of the week, peeling…

Does that running/walking formula transfer over at all to the elliptical?

I'm currently 5'2" and 125 lbs, which is heavy for me. I know that as a small woman my BMR is lower than the average.

Update: I just realized that I've had an error in the way MFP has been predicting my calories with a deficit, which totally explains my current situation. When I thought I was eating a deficit, I was actually eating at maintenance. This is kind of frustrating since I've wasted two weeks this way, but at least I got it…

Fitbit says I've burned 1658 calories so far today. It's always under what MFP gives me.

I joined! I'm super excited. I've been looking for a support group like this for a while.

I'm so glad I found this group - it's exactly what I've been needing! Goals: 1. Work back into working out regularly - I was crossfitting 5x/week until I broke my foot (not at crossfit) and was on crutches for a month. I just graduated from crutches to a boot, and will hopefully get cleared to start working out again next…

I'm also in college (I'm a junior) wanting to lose 20lbs. For me it wasn't the freshman 15 so much - I'm only up around 5 lbs since starting college. It's more just weight that's crept on over the past 4 years or so. I'm barely 5'2" and I haven't grown since my early teens so it's not from that, it's just a combination of…

It was at the time of this post, so 45 minutes left in the day. I doubt I burned 202 calories with 45 minutes of lying in bed.
