I log my foods to get an idea of what my caloric intake is. I let the scale determine if I need more or less calories at week's end.

Agree that it's likely the BF. Good for you for nourishing your child the best way there is!

I would have a big plate of something Mexican. What would you eat OP?

I tell myself "it's not mine, it doesn't belong to me...so don't touch it" or I tell myself to walk away and pretend it's not even there. The key for me is bringing my own food with me every day and eating it. I also weigh myself daily and if I go up a 1/2 lb, I tend to control myself. If I wait several days to weigh…

I make my own "sweets" and take them in my lunch/dinner box. Homemade cookies with very little sugar and I add stevia...oatmeal... flax seeds...yum. I make an almond milk chocolate pudding that's satisfying and low cal. I do eat small pieces of dark chocolate too. I have lost control with sugar in the past and do fight to…

" Because intermittent fasting gives your body breaks from having to digest food and time to "repair" itself. Apparently, it can be very healthy and some people very successfully follow this life style." -SKME This is what it is. Not junk science from what I have read about it.

True. May be different if you are sedentary. I clean for a living for 35+ years. It is a rare day that I am not on my feet. Most of those years I have been overweight. I always said for the work that I do I should be thinner, but have not been. The only time I was my goal weight, was when I seriously reduced calories.

Love it!...plain or fresh fruit added. No sugar or phenylalanine sweetened yogurt for me! I also drink whole raw milk. I make my own kefir from the milk and use it for fruit shakes. If you want probiotics, take the capsules.

Thin people don't always eat right...lol. They oftentimes have a faster metabolism.

It seems that if you want to maintain your goal weight you should keep using the app indefinately. If you are gaining weight back that you have lost, then you are not disciplined enough to stop counting your calories. Keep up your daily logs. :)
