I don't see how you can do this with the recipe builder option? It just allows me to put in dry quinoa calories? And I don't know the total calories of the cooked quinoa. So I have no idea how I would use that option

Feeling pretty dumb but I just don't get this. I always measure before I cook, as I have to follow the recipe. I use a half cup dry most weeks. This usually increases 2.5ishx in size. For example, I made a half cup dry this morning. Total weight was around 10.6 oz. If I understand what you are saying, I would be putting in…

I make multiple servings. I don't really want to make one serving just to weigh it, I'm sure there must be some way I can calculate it no matter how much I cook at one time.
-
Sorry but this doesn't make sense to me. I always make multiple servings. Yeah I don't get this to be honest. The issue is I don't know the calories for the total weight since it grows in size. I've used other nutritional data for cooked quinoa, but its never the brand I use and I would like to be as accurate as possible.

Any advice on how to get started?

Five-ish months. Weigh everything on a scale, I don't eat back much if anything of my exercise calories. I use a heart rate monitor for all workouts. I was eating 1,200 calories a day and working out pretty hard so I was concerned I wasn't getting enough nutrients and maybe that was stalling my weight loss (although most…

Been trying that without any luck :(

Just one that my trainer created for me. I've been doing a cut for a longgggg time now and it hasn't had much effect. I upped from 1200 to 1500 calories based on my nutritionists recommendation but I don't know if that'll actually help with weight loss, but she seemed to think I was eating too little with the amount I work…

How low do you think I should aim for? I definitely have a program worked out but it seems to have no effect at all on my belly but great effects everywhere else
-
Hah thanks!! I know it's soooo annoying!
-
Any advice on that or resources for tips?
-
Hah guess I can't get rid of those
-
I really don't care about weight per say, but I have this stubborn stomach fat I can't get rid of and I don't know if I need to lose more weight or recomp
-
so what % is ideal?
-
I run on the treadmill for 30-35 6x a week, and try to do HIIT. Then I do 40ish minutes of strength training and it depends on the day what I specifically do, but I will either do arms and abs one day and then legs the next.

never said I was blindly going to change my diet plan based on commenters. Just wanted to see what others protein intakes were, but thanks
-
She said I fell between a moderately active adult who should eat .36 of protein per lb and a recreational exerciser who eats .5 to .7 and recommended I eat .4 grams of protein per pound. I'm not trying to get jacked or anything, just would like to look trim

Yeah I'm just as confused honestly. I have an appointment with a nutritionist next week and maybe they can tell me what I'm doing wrong
-
Thanks! I messaged you-
-
Again, don't really care about weight just wanna lose fat
-
I always weigh my food and stick to my meal plan 98% of the time. That's why I'm so confused
-
yeah I do diligently
-
Okay. I'm not super concerned about dropping weight at this point as much as I just want to lose some body fat leftover, so I guess recomp would be what I Need to do. Any suggestions on how to go about that as far as workouts/calorie intake?
-
in MFP that's what it gives me. I put in I'd like to lose a lb a week and that I work 6 times a week for around an hour and it tells me 1,200 calories. What exactly do you mean by recomp?
-
probably 3 to 4 months.
-
Yes, right now I eat 1,200 calories and thats it. regardless of what I exercise or burn that day. And I don't know how much to eat back in because my calorie burn is always at like 700-800, which i know is not true lol. I just wasn't sure if I should be at say, 1400 just to be safe?
-
Yes I am. But I really think my heart rate monitor over exaggerates what I burn so I still am unsure how many calories I should be eating. Surprisingly though, I'm not really losing any weight lately which makes me wonder..!
-
hah yes, oops! I mean't unhealthy :0

Any advice on how to drop a couple more lbs? I've literally been eating right and exercising for a year and have been at 124 lbs since August and nothing seems to work
