  • Its a really good programme. Some weeks I thought it was wayy too much of a jump - the increase in running time was too big. So I just repeated the week for a couple of weeks until I could do it comfortably. Also... the 30mins for 5k bit was optimistic for me. Still working on that, but I can still run for 30mins longer…
  • Try ParkRun on a Saturday - fun and free and everybody is really supportive. I'm looking forward to going back after avoiding outside exercise all winter.... If you can (and if your gym offers it) book a trial Personal Trainer session - you can then copy some/all of their routine
  • You will walk around clothes shops looking for the items in the size you used to be!
