I buy close-to-date meat on sale all the time! I just throw it in the freezer as soon as I get home and then take it out when I know I will use it the same day. Great way to save money IMO. :)

I find an avocado to be the perfect breakfast food for me. The fat fills me up and keeps me going until lunchtime. If you are a type of person who needs a protein kick in the morning, what about adding an egg? I swell up like crazy if I kick myself out of ketosis on a carb binge. Even my mom will notice that my face is super puffy and calls me out on eating crap LOL (and I'm 34 for crissake lol)

Hard boiled eggs, pepperoni, jerky (all things that have been mentioned so, sorry, not very helpful). Fatburger will also do a burger in a lettuce wrap - they are my fav!!

Hi Christie. I stick to a keto plan if you want to add me and check out my diary. I keep my carbs very low, max of 20g net each day (net carbs = total carb grams minus fiber grams) and aim for a macros ratio of 80% fat, 15% protein and 5% carbs. I've been doing yoga and taking walks to combat drinking in the evenings. Also, I set a mini-goal like the one for this next 2 weeks: $0 from this pay cheque is going to booze. So far so good...
