I do isolation work. My arms are small but when I flex I have a nice bump. Before I started lifting my arms stayed flat when I flexed.

I have to work not to be fat, I just never held fat in my arms or in any of my upper body. I'm a pear shape with lil A cups.

I'm short, only 5'2" and I don't have a large frame. I think you look AMAZING.

Mine are 10 in unflexed.

I love strength training. I use a variety of rep ranges. At this time I'm doing a four day upper/lower split. I enjoy riding my bike, hiking, swimming, dancing, and walking my dog. I dislike stationary cardio equipment. I usually do some yoga once or twice a week.

Too much fiber can cause bloating and loose stools. Maybe shoot for only 20g per day.

Thank you for all the replies. It sounds like patience will be my friend

My weight fluctuates from around 113-117.

I have slight scoliosis, I just make sure to use proper body mechanics when lifting/exercising and I haven't had a problem.

My mother quit smoking over ten years ago which is great but she has gained so much weight because she eats instead of smoking.

Yep, I like fitnotes too.

I feel like I need to shop in the children's section. Women's clothing is always too big especially tops and dresses but I can usually get petite pants and be ok. Junior's department is also sometimes too big.

This. I also lift at home and bench in my squat rack... And I have needed it once and I'm glad I was in there!

Yep, this. For me maintenance hasn't really been difficult but I have to pay attention to what I'm doing, eating, and living like each day. It's worth it to me, along with looking better I feel so much better than when I was heavier.

My normal fluctuations have about a 3-4 pound range.

I drink it because I like the taste and it's fizzy. I've brewed my own in the past, pretty easy to do.

Thank you for your input, it's appreciated.

I don't use a Smith machine, I workout at home. Thanks for the input, I'll be sticking with the 4 day upper lower split instead.

I think it's scheduled the way it is because it's geared towards females. I like that it works the lower body so much. I just don't like working my whole body everytime I workout... I guess I find it boring... I don't know, I just seem to enjoy a split routine more.

It sounds like she's just trying to understand what it is.

They are both a carbohydrate source. They each have their own benefits and drawbacks. This is a pretty good article on their differences. https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/brown-vs-white-rice#section2

I'm doing this as well. I'm going to continue to track my weight in the libra app to make sure my trend stays within my maintenance weight limits.

I'm 5'2" and 115 lbs. I've been in maintenance since last July. I maintain on 1800-1900 cals per day plus I usually eat at least one cheat meal per week. I have done very sparatic cardio since going into maintenance. Sometimes I enjoy a bike ride or a hike with the family. I do walk my dog almost every day. I occasionally…

So, I'm getting to my happy place. It's slow and steady for me. I'm at the lower-middle end of a healthy weight for my height so I've been recomping since last July. My bf has definitely gone down. I think as long as I'm making strength gains I'll stay recomping. I tried cutting again at the beginning of the year and was…

Great video! Thanks for posting. I have a 17%BF on a 7 point caliper test, a 22.5%bf on my scale, and based on pics I think I'm around 20%. So who knows!

I go back and forth with being okay with being in maintenance and recomping and wanting to lose 5-10 more pounds. I've tried losing that weight a couple of times and my body really seems to fight me on it with depressed mood and fatigue when cutting. Right now I'm back to eating in maintenance and I'm feeling happy.

Track your sodium intake. Some people are sensitive to sodium. My BP was running high about 140-150/85, this was about a year ago. I was able to bring it down to 115/80 by losing weight, reducing sodium in my diet, and by reducing stress in my life.

I'm an extra small top/dress and I have a really hard time finding clothes that aren't too big. Many stores don't even carry an extra small.
