@DD265 - That looks like a great time! Thanks for sharing with us! @ashleycarole - The bike bell is awkward for me too but it’s better for everyone I think. That way there is no sneaking up and possibly no incidents. Hopefully the walkers won’t take it too personally - the bell is to warn and protect both the rider and the…

@jugar @EvMakesChanges - Congrats that you two get to be together! I didn't realize you were sisters <3 Recovery is always better with a friend and maybe more so with a sister! Thanks for everybody's feedback about the Ritz or crackers! I do feel much better. CW: 166 PW: 166 @jugar - My weight this week has bounced around…

Update on my post from yesterday. Putting in a general overview of my meals helps me stay on track. Yesterday I ate different foods and less than what I intended. Logging early helped me to have a “plan” and not just eat whatever was available. So I’m going to try this all week. @conleywoods - thanks for the info on…

Happy Monday everyone. I realized this morning that I haven’t tracked my foods for 6 days 🥺 not that my food choices were bad I just can’t remember what they were… accountability helps me but I usually check in here in the mornings. Like now. So this week (prob more honest to just say today) I’m going to pre-log my food…

My weekend included a run in the rain and walking in the park near our house. For the run on Saturday I knew it was supposed to rain but thought I might get back to my house before it poured. Funny I was laughing all the way home and splashing in the puddles! I probably looked crazy for the people who drove by me but I had…

I woke up early today and just went right into my fitness goals. Water. Stretch. Run. Stretch. Yes!! Felt invigorating. Then boxing late with my son just for fun. It really does help me to get out of bed with an intention to move. @JourneyAlone - you mentioned that you eat mostly a Mediterranean diet. I made Greek chicken…

Tuesday is always a weird day for me. Mondays are always gung ho and then Tuesdays are usually a drop in energy. I woke up late this morning but stretched and did a light workout in the early afternoon. I haven't met my step goals yet (its 1030pm for me now) but I did drink my required water and stayed within my calories…

It’s great to read everyone’s posts and thanks for the welcome back and glad to see the new members - we have such a diverse group! I got my first run in of the month today and even took my shirt off. For so many reasons those women who run in just their sports bra always intimidated me and I was jealous that my husband…

CW/PW: 162.0 I’m still doing some exercise but not managing my foods much. I feel so much heavier this month and my clothes feel tighter… I want to get to my goal weight but not enough to be more focused on what and when I am eating. Somehow it seems easy to say do better or eat less or change your habits but I’m just not…

PW:160 CW: 162 This last week has not been good for me. I’ve not been monitoring my intake, not making time for exercise and doubting so many things. It’s a viscous cycle that pulls me down. I’m traveling back to the states in July and wanted to be more secure in my routine and I’ve just blown it all apart. I know that I…

PW: 159 CW: 161 I’d like to think this will come right back down. I’ve been hovering around 160 all year. My goal is to get to 145. I have work to do primarily around being consistent and not derailing when life doesn’t go as planned. I don’t want to complain because I’m thankful to be healthy and have time to focus on…

Last Saturday while I was out for a run I got an urgent call that my daughter fell off her skateboard and just wasn’t “acting right”... Turns out she had a serious concussion and a cracked skull. @jugar - Here are my steps for the rest of last week 14: 11892 15: 9606 16: 9480 Interesting that my steps average has decreased with an apple watch. I walked and moved more with the Fitbit because of the regular reminders and goals. I'm going to look for an app that can help with this....

@Terytha I'm happy to see you commenting again! Stay with us we need your interesting messages and awesomeness. I LOVED all those fantasy movies too they were always so weird and inspiring - exactly what I needed as a kid and now when I feel too grown up!

Love the lake house @PlaneMonkey it looks like a fun and relaxing spot! It was great to see y’all on the zoom call! It’s nice to connect in person. 😁 it inspired me to get in a workout and stretch later that evening! Just started with 10 minutes of walking which then led to HIIT and Pilates stretches.
