  • Ok I need help with how to record my weight for the team. My old scale shows 161.4. My new shows 165.4. I’d like to use the old scale weight until the end of the month. Then swap to the new scale at the beginning of the month. Is that cheating?
  • I’m feeling better about the stay home orders lately. Not sure if it’s because I’m on an up cycle or because I’ve dreamed up a lot of things to do around the house or because of the spring flowers. Either way im grateful to feel good today. Wanted to share a positive note 😊
  • @Terytha - I hear you. It really helps to have things to look forward to. Just one or two. I was feeling this way last week. It will open up and planning will start again. What do you look forward to the most? Can you find one thing you are grateful for in all of this mess? 🤗
  • @evangsimmons170 you are killing it in the steps challenge!! Great work lady!
  • Sorry in advance for this post its long and rambling. @micki48 my steps for April are listed below. I have had some trouble staying motivated but still able to get to my goal on my run days. I have been using FitRockr and not sure why I thought not to post these numbers to you. Fitrockr does benefit me on the days I get…
  • My status: bored! 🙃 I’m trying to plan out my days and not get too much sleep. I haven’t been doing well with nutrition in all of April. Working out daily with Pilates but need to focus more on sweating and getting these endorphins moving. My current weigh in shows the lack of progress. Sorry team. CW: 163 PW: 162.5? Also…
  • @micki48 I’m with you on getting the crud out!! I’ve assigned myself all kinds of little chores to keep me busy and to feel accomplished lately. Today I cleaned the exterior window blinds in my kids room that were FILTHY. So rewarding to walk by there now!
  • I download the Fitrockr app and set up a profile. I joined a couple of teams but not sure I have the right ones for us. @jugar Please send me (Stephanie Schroeder) the correct invite link as well. Thanks!
  • Sorry to just be back here on my Sunday night. My CW: 162.4 and PW: 163.
  • @Micki48 I am interested in the April steps challenge again as a way to keep motivated. I have moved quite a bit less this week. Not sure why this is. There is less demanding my time and the weather is beautiful here. Just not as motivated to get moving....... My marathon scheduled for May was cancelled so I'm finding it…
  • @micki48 Here are my steps to finish up last week: 3/27: 18,434 3/28: 10,246
  • For the April challenge ideas: I’m interested in “keystone habits” in relation to fitness. Would suggest this as a discussion topic. For example one of my keystone habits is getting out of bed right when I wake up. This one action sets up my day for the better. If I stay in bed then I read social media, am later to get…
  • Whew TGIF! This week has been awkward for me. Feeling couped up and then running or walking too much and then resting too much. STILL trying to find a balance. Our online schools are working well and I’m not watching news. Keeps me feeling in control on the drama front. We have been watching movies together, making dinners…
  • @micki48 Could you update the steps with these dates/steps? Somehow I didn’t get these posted 🤷🏼‍♀️ my half marathon training running is paying off. Sadly I Think the race in May might get cancelled. I sure hope not. I’m getting ready anyways. 3/13: 15,459 3/14: 14,793
  • @micki48 here are my steps for the rest of my week in confinement... its hard to get to my goal while not leaving the house as much. Thankful for runs in the afternoon and multiple little walks throughout the day. Its keeping me sane or at least in a better space... 3/19: 10,581 3/20: 7,514 3/21: 10,479
  • I’ve been trying to cut back on using my phone to stay away from the news. Gladly when I looked at the MFP this morning you people are amazing and sweet and so funny! @YinxFed - I totally get your post I have to set time limits on social media to keep Glad you refocused. @Terytha - I love mad max and this thought! One of…
  • My time travel this morning would be 1620 - which was also a leap year and the Mayflower sailed from Plymouth, England, bound for the New World (how exciting and scary!). So you know similar to these times... :) @Micki48 here are steps so far this week 3/15: 11,069 3/16: 15,637 3/17: 14,112 3/18: 10,348
  • @terytha we bought a similar blanket hoodie for my daughter for Christmas and she LOVES it. I tried it the first week we had it and it was so comfy! Wanted to curl up in it - but she wanted it back so badly and I haven’t had the chance since.... 😂😂😂😂😂. Enjoy!!!
  • Luxembourg is getting a little crazy with the C19 preparation and response. The schools are closed, public transport has been reduced and most businesses are shutdown or teleworking. The cafes and most importantly the bars are open... 🤷🏼‍♀️ But thankfully the sun is finally back and the rain has stopped! I went for an hour…
  • Great job @Gidgitgoescrazy !!! All that hard work is paying off! Congrats 🎉
  • What an interesting week. I had a lack of positive focus early this week and my youngest son was sick with Strep throat. Which made for twice daily bleaching of the household surfaces to prevent the spread to everyone - which has worked so far!! Now I am back to my running and Pilates schedule and have started to feel…

  • @Micki48 congrats on your stats at the doc! Could you also add me to the steps group? I will aim for 10K steps/per day or 70K per week. • @KellyBgetsfit - you seem like a bright fireball! :) I hope you are feeling better soon and get back to the exercise that makes you feel energized!
  • Thanks everyone for the tips on a consistent approach! @Conleywoods - love the pairing example. I watched a lot of TV during February and think I could instead pair a Netflix series with a gym visit and exercise on the stationary bike. Then I could feel better about both! Also you're right I could count my reps in French!…
  • Great work Kristi! Thanks for sharing your story. :)
  • Hi everyone! My name is Stephanie, I live in Luxembourg and have transitioned to be a stay at home mom. In my life just last year (and the 20 previous) I had an intense focus on my career and wasn't focused on my fitness or my interests. I am working to lose 20 pounds this year and am at a lull in my interest in exercise.…
