Since you haven't had a Dr appointment yet I would say no, it's not OK to all of a sudden be "super active". However, a brisk 30 minute walk and a prenatal video is not super active or strenous. At this time you shouldn't be looking to lose weight, I'm mentioning this because you said you are 30 lbs overweight. You should…

You have to really want to work out without anyone else pushing you. It has to be something YOU want to do. Exercise will give you energy you thought you could never have, so the first week might be a struggle, but if you can push through you'll be glad you did. Find something you think you'll enjoy, not what other people…

Lightly active. The desk job would put you at sedentary, but the active job bumps you up a bit. For MFP purposes exercise is added separately.

I guess it all depends on your stats (age, weight, height), how you are feeling in the long term and how accurate your calorie burn is.
-
What do you mean real food again? Could this real food be causing an increase in water weight?! Doesn't matter what kind of food you are eating, it's all about being in a caloric deficit. Are you weighing all your food on a food scale?
-
I drink diet soda, so replacing that with juice=going over my calories for the day....most likely. Carbonated drinks do not have anything to do with a big belly, excess calories do.
-
I'm sure some of that weight is glycogen replenishing itself from the deficit you were in, but some of it is obviously fat gain. If you are 100% sure of your calorie intake (and only you can be) then drop your calories by 100 wait a month and see if anything changes. You say your age and weight, but not your height,…

When I'm going through a rough time I walk, and A LOT more than usual. I get off my butt and will spend 2-3 hours walking by the water. It's calming and relaxing and when I come home and want to eat a bunch of food that would normally bring my over my daily calories, I don't feel guilty. It's funny my SIL and I were…

Whatever you want, a simple cup of chocolate milk is a great recovery drink, it doesn't need to be complicated or expensive. Read the stickies.

Set MFP to lose .5 lbs a week, eat foods you like within your calorie goal, exercise if you can doing cardio and some sort of resistance training and eat back about 50% of those calories that are burned through exercise.
-
The side effects, cost and the fact that it's only for short term use scream STAY AWAY. MFP is free, simple, can teach you how many calories you need to eat to lose and maintain your weight and doesn't have any nasty side effects.

I'm Canadian, but travel to the USA a lot. I love Trader Joe's wraps! Falafel and tuna are my favourites for lunch. Also love weight watchers bagels, shirataki noodles, quest bars (I never would have tried these without joining MFP)....flavoured oreos all thanks to MFP as well.

Iron, vit C, tums and a fish oil.

Once every two weeks OR if I notice my clothes are fitting a little snugger then normal.

I eat what I normally eat (generally), but I eat at maintenance and really focus on protein, fat and micro nutrients. It's just my husband, kids and I so I don't feel the need to eat heavy sweets, or traditional food that my inlaws have made us before. No one visits us during Ramadan and we don't visit anyone so there is…

MFP is designed for you to eat back exercise calories. However the calorie burn on MFP is very generous, most people eat back about 50% of their exercise calories.
-
Yea careful you want to reverse diet slowly. I've heard of a woman getting edema after comp because once she was done she ate everything, just happened that everything she loved eating was very high in sodium.

I'm a pear, even at my smallest (5'4 105 lbs) I was a pear. Now with more weight on me I'm still a pear. The only thing that will make me an hour glass are breast implants.

For me, Cinnamon Buns!

When I go to Chipolte I get a wrap, but cut calories by not getting sour cream or avocado and just get a little but of cheese. Same with Subway, I'll get cheese but none of the sauces. When it comes to places like Mc Donalds or Burger King I don't cut anything, although I never get burgers unless it's a fish burger…

Similar feelings and fellow Canadian.

I couldn't give up coffee, maybe if someone paid me I'd consider it, but for my sanity I NEED coffee. Personally I'd cut back on the creamer. Liquid coffee mate has 56 calories for .8 oz and there are a tonne of flavours, so you don't really need a sweetener.

COFFEE!

Well I was mostly a kid in the 90's, but I remember my mom loved her Snack Well cookies and Crystal Light.

Mercury will not expel from your body, it binds to your brain and nervous system. Once you experience the side effects, you won't be able to reverse them. I've read that in general women should have no more than 2 cans of tuna/week and men 3. This is of course all dependent on your height and weight.

I was going to write pretty much the same thing. 4 hours is really not that long. OP you could just eat before you leave.
-
For me the point of having an activity tracker is to track all my steps throughout the day no matter what I'm doing. It goes on as soon as I wake up and gets taken off when I go to bed.
-
Smaller people also don't burn a lot of calories in a short amount of time. OP I don't know what kind of work out you are doing for 30 min, but it's highly unlikely you are burning up to 300 calories.
