Plastic surgery? :o , doesn't sound that dramatic to me. Personally I wouldn't do it. I'd use that money towards something else like a vacation or new clothes.

That's awesome. I'm jealous (in the best way of course). Personally I'd eat, workout and eat some more. Whatever gain I'd worry about later. Enjoy the yummy food

I went on vacation for about a week and put on 2 lbs. I was very happy with that because I had been to a buffet three times and ate whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted. I was semi active during that time getting anywhere from 7500-15000 steps a day.

Congrats, but that had nothing to do with gluten free or not eating junk food, it had to do with the fact you were in a caloric deficit. FYI Gluten free packaged products tend to be higher in calories, because they need extra sugar or fat to be palatable.

I don't throw away food. It's funny that you mention leftover pizza because that's exactly what I'll be having tomorrow. You are being dramatic, it's not a bajillion calories, it's not bad food and it's not a big deal. If you fit the slices of pizza into your log today, you'll have no problem fitting them into your log…

Most of my road trips have been to the USA and most non perishable items are not allowed to cross the border. So we'll bring a cooler full of ice packs and frozen juice boxes and head to a grocery store in the USA. From there we'll buy cheese sticks, bagged salad, bananas, yogourt and milk. For the non perishable things we…

Sounds like me just before I find out I'm pregnant.

Well if you stopped exercise, but continued eating the same amount, maintenance or weight gain is to be expected. One day of eating only lentil soup is not going to help you in the long or short term. Either get back to going to the gym or cut the amount of calories you are eating. Your problem has nothing to do with age.

Nursing moms should not cut carbs, I don't know why you would want to anyways. Carbs are great for quick energy, something you need and want when you have a young baby. Your baby also needs those carbs. My guess is that you are not weighing (on a digital scale) and measuring your food. I'm 5'4 and with my last baby it took…

Shirataki noodles, fruit, vegetables, non fat yogurt, cottage cheese, chicken breast, egg whites, popcorn, rice cakes just to name a few.

Haha I did that on Tuesday. They are on sale at Fred Meyer for $3.50 each and there is a catalina coupon that saves you $2 when you buy 2. I got one of each flavour and so far have only tasted the cookie dough....it's amazing, unlike any other cookie dough ice cream I've ever had.

People can call it whatever they want. What some people call a cheat meal, I call a calories don't count meal. We all know the statement I use is false if I'm trying to lose weight, but I'm not a serious person and I don't care what other people do or say when it doesn't affect me.

Op your problem is money management. Just because you have extra money on hand doesn't mean you have to spend it.
-
If you weigh 200 lbs that's only an increase of 5 lbs, most of which is water weight. I think you need to relax and not regret the food choices you made on your vacation. Vacations are about relaxing and enjoying things without worry, am I right?!

Go into maintenance during Eid if you must. Dieting during a holiday is no fun. You can eat biryani and dessert just watch your portions and weigh them if you can (this might be awkward if you are visiting someone). One day of extra exercise is not going to offset going over your calories, so just enjoy the holiday.

You want to lose 14 lbs in a month, when that's all you have left to lose....it's not going to happen. Any aggressive weight loss with so little to lose if going to result in muscle lose no matter what your diet or exercise regime. So when you say so long 6 pack, you're right it really will be gone.
-
The only thing I see that's wrong is impatience on your part. Your weight loss may have stalled because you introduced exercise, which can cause temporary water retention.
-
OP what are you going to consume after the 10 days? Best to eat foods you will stick with long term and will enjoy that fit into your calorie allotment. This cleanse is just a way for someone to get money off you, that's it's only benefit, although not a benefit to you.

Lol no, just no.

I use MFP as well, it's just synched together, so Withings knows MFPs calorie goal.
-
Set MFP to lose .5 lbs/week. Do cardio to gain more calories and lift weights for better body composition. I must ask, when is your wedding?
-
I have a Withings as well. When I'm losing weight I have it set to sedentary, with a weight loss goal of .5 lbs/week. When I hit about 10 000 steps Withings gives my an extra 120 calories on top of my calorie goal. My steps are mostly walking on a flat surface (no hills where I live) and I've found this to be pretty…

Genetics. ETA: and to some degree the rate at which that weight loss was achieved.

Your body actually needs sodium. There is the DASH diet for people with hypertension. Unless you have health issues there is no reason to go low sodium and having a diet that is too low in sodium can cause problems with your heart. That's not something you want to mess with.

How are you calculating your calories? Are you weighing your food on a food scale or are you going by packages or estimating? Most often if you aren't weighing your food, you are eating way more than you think. It's not the kind of food that you eat that will help you lose weight, it's the quantity. If you are concerned…

Talk to your doctor. Saying "not to gain so much weight" sends red flags, what about eating to have a healthy pregnancy.

Well I have the best intentions to log everything everyday, but sometimes it doesn't always work out that way. Went on vacation logged the first day, the second and by the third day after breakfast I just said f it. Somethings are hard to find the calories for and when you are sitting in a place that has no internet it's…
