With such a little amount to lose, .5 lbs/week is an ideal amount of weight loss.

There are a few factors that dictate whether or not you will lose the c-section pouch or not. Starting weight is a big one. Even if/when you get down to a healthy bmi, you could have lose skin that will hang at the incision. This would be pretty normal especially since you said this was your 3rd c-section. Slow weight…

Yummy, thanks for the idea. I love shiritake noodles and have really only tried them with tomatoe sauce and vegetables.

I could give up everything on your list OP except for bread and bagels. If I could get all my macros and micros from bread, bagels and ehem cinnamon buns and remain at my current weight, well that's what I would eat all day long.

Cashews, cinnamon buns, basboosa

I'm one of those parents that tells their kids to finish their diner first and then they can have a treat. I don't fill their plate to the brim, I know how much they can eat. My kids are 2, 7 and 8 and sometimes the older ones will bring a candy home from school. If they ask if they can eat it before dinner is ready I will…

OMG is this the new trend? To see how long you can go without eating. This is not IF.

I've always been told not to do low carb while breastfeeding, both you and baby need carbs. It's important to eat a well balanced diet where all macros and micros are included. Anyways set mfp up to lose .5 lbs/week then add 500 calories for exclusively breastfeeding and that should be your total calorie goal to meet.

What about a women's only gym?

I made a pizza cookie last Saturday it was so sweet, slightly gooey and very delicious.

I'm fasting for religious reasons, and my days end up looking like 18:6, so kind of similar to IF. I do low intensity cardio 20 min before breaking my fast and 15-20 minutes weight lifting every second day during my eating window. My personal observations are that I'm less bloated, feel lighter and find it much harder to…

I agree, it's much better in ice cream or make a pudding out of it my adding 1.5 oz of milk for every 15 grams of protein powder.
-
Cinnabon cinnamon rolls are 880 calories. That would be my go to.
-
Be careful not to eat foods that are too fatty or sugary when you break your fast, otherwise you'll feel gross and/or dizzy.
-
yup, just before bed.

BBQ some chicken breast strips let cool and put in some freezer bags, pre boil eggs and keep them in the fridge, prepare and freeze hamburger patties, make a giant pot of soup and freeze it in small containers, keep greek yogurt and milk in the fridge at all times, look for low carb breads and tortillas if you like bread,…

I agree that a good chunk of that is water weight, but also it can be really easy to lose weight while breastfeeding. I'm 5'4, 10 years older than you and after my last baby starting using MFP when I had 10 baby lbs left to lose. I lost .5/lb a week eating about 2300 cal/day and some days I ate much more than that. Your…

I swear it use to be my face and thighs, but now that I'm getting older and have had three kids it goes straight to my stomach.

Personally I think it works for people who like large meals. Some people do IF as a lifestyle (16:8) basically all they are doing is skipping breakfast. But, doing IF does not make weight loss happen any faster, it just might be a little easier mentally. You can do IF and maintain your weight, lose or gain weight. It all…

He could be but it's too early to tell.

By eating in a calorie deficit. ETA: Are you lifting right now? That will minimize muscle loss as you lose weight.

a 6 foot tall male should not be eating less calories then he is currently eating/aiming for.

Like I said, you set your weight loss up to lose 1 lb every 2.5 weeks, you haven't seen results since June 1st, because it's June 6th today. Also if you aren't weighing your food in grams then you aren't tracking accurately, and since you set yourself up for slow weight loss (smart thing to do), you need to be accurate in…

You don't need to cut out bread and flour, that's not going to affect your weight loss. How are you determining how many calories you are eating. are you guessing or are you weighing your food on a food scale? A 200 calorie deficit is going to let you lose about 1 lb every 2.5 weeks, so you're going to have to be super…

But depending on your current weight losing 30 lbs in 3 months won't make your body be at it's healthiest. It's setting your body up for muscle loss.
-
No it won't. It's the diet changes (eating in a calorie deficit) that gives you results. The only thing that burns more calories is exercise especially if you have more lean mass, muscle is metabolically active vs fat which isn't. There is no magic tea, pill, spice or oil that aides in weight loss.
-
Coffee is probably the cheapest and "most" effective appetite suppressant. Unless you have a pill prescribed by your doctor, no weight loss pill is going to work. It's a waste of money and they won't help you at all. Learn to make lifestyle choices, something you will stick with and not just a quick fix.
-
I second this. You are not netting 1200 calories, your body is obviously trying to tell you something.
-
Omg the amount of carbs I ate to lose the baby weight, it was glorious. I love carbs and always will, I'd be a slug without them. When I'm cutting i eat 120-150 grams and now I'm maintaining so eat about 220-250 grams of carbs.

Yes, I have three kids to cook for and sometimes my husband. Going out takes time, even drive thrus take time, because I'd have to drive there and drive back, and for me where I'm living that's at least 30 minutes. I personally don't get enjoyment out of cooking, I like recipes to be as easy and as pain free as possible.…
