  • I eat old fashioned oats 5- 6 days a week.... in fact its prepped in my fridge for the week as I type. 1/2 cup dry makes a cup, mixed with water, 1/2 banana, 1/4 tsp. of cinnamon, 1 tbsp. of chopped walnuts cooked in the microwave, yummmmmmy!!!!! Works great for weight loss and wards off high cholesterol, and diabetes
  • Apple Cider vinegar always helps to keep you regular if taken a few times a week.

  • Christmas Day is almost upon is, gift giving is speeding up; I'm faced with people who give baked goods as a gifts- the temptation is hard. I'm so worried, I want to be able get past this time, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :)
  • I track my steps on shealth on my phone. I have been taking the stairs at work, I used to take the elevator to go up. I have also began to take the long way to increase my steps. Any day that I am under my 10,000 goal, I add at least 5 minutes extra on the treadmill.
  • I used a smaller plate for myself and stayed hydrated to maintain that full feeling. I gave away all deserts so they would not be around to tempt me. I made it!!!!
  • Yes I am ready for the challenge. What motivates me is having the support from you all, knowing that we are all in this together. I'm looking forward how to be satisfied after a meal and not feel like I'm about to burst from all seams. I am looking forward to learning how to substitute carbs for veggies and be ok with it.

  • Another small thing to check or consider is to make sure you are well hydrated; sometimes we retain fluid when we don't drink enough.- Just a thought
