This is my freaking life right now, and where the weight is coming off my body isn't where I want it to. I feel like I have this inner tube of stubborn fat around my belly that's clinging on until the last possible second!

I like this calculator. Obviously there will be some variation. I'm currently testing its accuracy for what it thinks I will weigh in July (my bday) based on the sedentary setting.

I haven't been to SDCC, but I have experienced the same thing with the cons I do go to. Just bring your own stuff but don't flaunt it.

I'm on r/loseit quite a bit and my experience is that the community overall is pretty against starving yourself. I constantly see males being told there to never go below 1500. But there are always going to be those people who either don't know or think it's a good thing to be so low, and will share their opinion.

I chose 125 because the last time I was close to that (3 years ago I hit 128 before gaining again) I felt pretty good with how I looked, but like I definitely needed to lose just a few more pounds. So this time I'll aim for 125 and then reassess.

This is why I wasn't losing weight when I was "eating healthy". I never realized how many "healthy" calories and alcohol calories I was consuming. Everything is fine in moderation as long as it fits your calories. Count everything (even the wine).

My fitbit says that today I burned 1417 calories. Maybe I'll get in a couple hundred more before bed at most. There's definitely a reason I'm eating 1200 most days lol.

You can check out if there are any fitness meetup (meetup.com) groups in your area. I know there are lots near me with many that have a focus on finding workout partners.

I'm doing 1200 but I'm also only 5'2" and down to 131. Eating at 1200 for me is eating at less than a 400 calorie deficit based on my TDEE. I'm losing no more than a pound a week tops on a good week. If I ate a lot of junk I would probably feel like crap on 1200, but I love to cook my own meals and have lots of protein and…

I'm going to cold stone today and I'm going to get the like it instead of the love it size ;-D I just treat myself occasionally. I'd rather have a really delicious sundae every couple weeks or whatever than a small amount every day, but I don't personally crave sweets every day.

My TDEE is less than 1500 calories, so I'm eating 1200 a day. 5'2" and 133lbs.

@FitGeekery have you considered creating a geek group here on MFP. It seems all the geek related groups I could find were older and not very active, and there seems to be a lot of interest in this one thread.

I count calories but I still largely eat what I want. I just eat the things I want more sensibly. I eat one or two slices of pizza depending on how high my count is for the day instead of half the whole pizza.
