Why not just increase your portion sizes? If you're only eating 1100 calories, your portions can't be anywhere near big enough.

I'll definitely keep the 10cals/minute in mind when I'm trying to calculate calories burned. If my numbers have me at or over that rate I'll be recording only some of those calories. Hopefully that will keep me more accurate with logging. Thanks for the info SamZ10 and futuremanda!

Thanks futuremanda. That's a good idea to even out my target calories for the week. It would definitely make it easier to plan meals, and not leave me feeling hungry or deprived on my non-exercise days. Agree with Asher_Ethan on the water. So important to drink lots of water. I also have tea with milk and sweetener when I'm feeling like I need something to fill me up. It tends to do the trick. I'm drinking one right now actually, in the past I would have been snacking on cookies while making the kids lunches!

They're also good for getting in those foods that you may not necessarily like on their own. I can't seem to maintain eating yogurt on a regular basis, and spinach isn't something I like by itself, so by having a protein shake every day, I get my yogurt and spinach in without actually tasting them. I'm 5'11" and currently 230lbs. I am set at lightly active, and work out 5-6 times a week at a high intensity for 45min to an hour. My goal is to lose another 60lbs and MFP gives me 1500 cals a day.
