The only vegan I know is the gaming department store chickie who sells me the Xbox games/accessories my partner/kids want for their Xbox. I don't think I am qualified to participate in this conversation. I will say though, she is smokin. But then I am sure that's more a personal preference and largely to do with the fact…

Iv started so many times and either had life creep in and happen or I just decided wine at night was more important than the whole calorie counting thing. I guess what makes this time different is my perspective has completely changed. I have lost both my parents in the space of 18 months. I have two kids who rely on me. I…

I bought a Fitbit flex. I wore it for a couple of weeks and now I don't bother. It's ugly. I can't wear it to bed as I find it uncomfortable. I find generally it the novelty of it wore off pretty quickly....and that is what it is, a novelty. If your a gadget person then you might like it. I find my activity levels are…

I eat between 1200 and 1500 a day. My diary is open. I have not been at this long and I am still trying to sort out the macros but I try and do the best I can. I also eat on a budget and have to cook for my husband and my 2 children. We all eat the same thing more or less.

Its winter here. Pumpkin soup in any form is lovely with crusty bread roll. I love a greek salad with or without feta but it must have olives (they are my weakness), balsamic dressing with some sort of meat to go with it. Fav breaky at the moment is english muffins with mashed avocado, thin ham slices, tomato slices and a…

I spend $100 on groceries and around $40-$50 on meat. That is for 2 adults and 2 tween boys who I swear have hollow legs. But that's also includes toiletries, food and litter (crystals) for two adult indoor cats, and other household items like waste bags, cleaners and laundry soap. I shop at the market for fruit and veg…

I know this thread has been going for a while but I thought I would join in. I'm 6 weeks dry on Friday. Happy to continue until June 20, which is my birthday. Then the plan is to go dry again until December 3rd, husbands 30th birthday. After that I don't know...will re-evaluate when we get there :) Good luck everyone

At least your infomercials are not the adult variety. Ours are "buy the nutria ninja" mixed up with "call me...call me now...I'm waiting for your call *insert woman in skimpy clothing shot here*".

Yum. Burger King is more or less Hungry Jacks here. I love an Aussie Burger, which is a whopper with bacon egg and beetroot. I also love their cheeseburgers better than McDonalds....frankly their fries suck though.
