  • I just turned 35.
  • My husband and I did the Rugged Maniac last year in October. We both thought it was pretty easy. There was only one obstacle each that we couldn't complete.
  • I work out at Planet Fitness in Rosedale, MD and take a class at Elite Family Karate in Essex, MD.
  • Kodiak Cakes or Nutrigrain waffles with sugar free syrup are good for breakfast if you get tired of eating eggs. I use the Schmidt 647 bread for turkey or peanut butter sandwiches. Dinner can be some kind of meat and vegetables. Snacks can be slices or chunks of fruit, vegetables, almonds, or popcorn. Don't drink any…
  • I am only 4'11" and I have a desk job, so 1,200 calories per day has been fine for me. Choose healthy, nutrient dense foods, every calorie is really not the same.

  • Great job on transforming yourself and helping others, keep it up. I am only 4'11" and already a healthy weight, so my story is different from the beginning, but I definitely agree with using weight training from the very start no matter what your goals are. I was successful with eating 1,200 calories per day and working…

  • 1,000 calories for a small person who has a desk job can be okay, but every situation is different. I am 4'11", 114 lbs., and I work at a bank.

  • During the week, Monday through Friday, I eat small meals all throughout the day staying at 1,200 calories per day and I don't add back any calories for exercising. The weekends are different though. Sundays I usually don't have time for breakfast, I go to church, have a big lunch at a restaurant, and then I'm not usually…
  • Hi SRGANN, I have been doing Blogilates from Youtube for a couple weeks now and I really like it. I like that they are short, but targeted workouts that I can do everyday. I don't know if this group is active. I just joined today.

  • jkwolly, This is what I am eating, no one else has to do it, but the poster was asking for suggestions. Plus MyFitnessPal recommends I eat 1200 calories per day, but I guess everyone is different. You could easily eat more to add calories to your diet.
