  • Fitness Blender on YouTube will give you a great workout or Zumba videos on YouTube as well. Fitstar is another thing that will have you sweating. If you don't mind running there are also couch to 5km running apps that will get you in shape. You can definitely work out just as hard at home you just have to find ways to do…
  • Hello I don't have depression, but I do have anxiety which has some depressive tendencies in itself. Some days it's hard to get out of bed or the house, but I always make a point to do some exercise because that is one thing that makes me feel better. It's one of the things my doctor told me to do (on a note and everything…
  • My workout includes swimming 3 times a week for 20-30 minutes. I run 3 times a week on week 3 of the C25K app. I have a three day cycle for other exercises including dumbbells and body weights one day I work my chest and arms and core, the second day I work my core and legs, the third day I rest. I do Fitstar routines…
  • I would love to learn to lift heavy, but honestly I'm a little scared. I hate the thought of asking someone how I am supposed to lift properly and I don't like the thought of people watching me attempt it or coming up to talk to me. I have anxiety which doesn't help anything. The last time I went toward the weights section…
  • Do burpees count? lol
  • I drink green tea, chai tea, apple cinnamon tea, or sleepy time tea. Sleepy time is just a spearmint tea. Chai with milk and sugar, apple cinnamon with sugar, and green and sleepy time black.
  • If it has crab and cream cheese I am so there.
  • Calories: 1200 to 1700. Depends on the day. Protein: 100g+ Fat: 60g+ Carbs: Anything remaining My ideal is to hit my protein and fat goals first and then worry about calories after I have met them in a day. I refuse to eat anything more than 1,700 calories. I can usually get away with 1,400 calories or so. Depends on the…
  • I swim in my local YMCA, but other than that I bike everywhere, I go on runs almost every day, I try to do a Fitstar video every day, and if I still have energy I will do wii fit or fitness blender videos. I have two dumbbells that I use at home, so I'll use those during a work out some times. It's totally possible to lose…
  • For eggs I like to have Pam spray the pan 1 egg 2 tsp oats 2 tbsp cottage cheese It isn't exactly textbook definition of scrambled eggs, but I do prepare it like scrambled eggs :P
  • I like to have a fasting day of 700 calories. I am trying to ease into 500 calories, but....baby steps, right? All I'm going to say is eat fruit or veggies or something under 100 calories for breakfast and lunch. If you save your calories for dinner you may feel satisfied. I try to wait until 7PM for dinner and go to bed…
  • I'll just leave this here to see if anyone disagrees or agrees with it....
  • It doesn't impact how much body fat or muscle mass you lose, but I find if I go from drinking nearly no water to drinking tons of water I lose about 1-2 kg in water weight within the next 2 weeks on top of what I am already losing. This stops after week 2 or 3 though. TL;DR: It impacts the scale, but not your fat stores.
  • Hello, Brenda congrats on making the new life decision! If you need motivation or an accountabilibuddy I'm more than willing to help. I have a similar goal as well I just count it in kg instead of pounds :P
  • Cinnamon tastes amazing X3 Any type of jam and milk tastes good too. I often make my own cereal of oats, quinoa, cinnamon (sugar), chocolate whey protein, chocolate chips, macadamia nuts, seeds, dried cranberries, dried blueberries, and coconut. Tastes good heated with hot water or hot milk. It also tastes great dry or…

  • I want salty things...like nacho chips....plain nacho chips....or soda crackers....but I just want to lick the tops lol.
  • As long as your calories in < calories out it doesn't matter what you do. Personally, I do some exercise every day because I would rather do exercise than feel hungry on 1,000-1,200 calories. I would much rather exercise and be able to eat when I'm hungry than let my calorie count dictate when I can eat.
  • Ontario, Canada!
  • I didn't know you could make pasta in the crock pot. Amazing!

  • Personally, I am the kind of person that likes to incorporate many apps into my daily routine. Below are some I find the most useful (not including mfp of course) If you want to help make yourself a plan then this calculator might be useful tool. If you are looking to decrease your body fat you might like Body Building. It…

  • When I had a lot of shift work I would set out food in sandwich bags. Each sandwich bag had the same amount of calories in it, so I was always aware of how much I was eating. Perhaps pre-making portions could help you with your eating issue.
  • My weight goal is anything from 50-60kg. If you don't read in kg that's about 20lbs of space in between. When I was in my teenage years I wanted to be 120lbs...no matter what my body looked like. When I was starting adulthood at age 18 I started wanting to fit a size 2 dress size....no matter what my body looked like. Now…

  • I can run for one minute straight. It isn't big, but even one month ago I wasn't able to run for 30 seconds.... and I can do it 8 times in a 20 minute span and come home thinking I could have done it longer.
