My husband left in 2009 in part because I had "gained to much weight to be attractive to him anymore". Well I have lost 17 pounds over the last month and when I went to drop my son off yesterday I had a great NSV. My ex hasn't seen me in about 2 months (we avoid contact whenever possible) and when I got out of the car he…

So far I have just been eating healthier. I have been depressed for years due to a rough marriage/divorce. Something snapped last month and I decided enough was enough. Got rid of 210 pounds of useless emotional weight (my ex husband lol) and told myself it was time to get healthy. I have been watching my calories, cut out…

Well I am glad it isn't just me. Lol. I am going to have to find an easier way to take a series of photos, that bathroom mirror is too hard to line up with

I am setting another mini-goal of 10 pounds by June 15th. That will give me almost a full month to lose it. I don't want to reach too high and then end up discouraged if I can't do it!

Thank you :) I jumped out of the 300 club this morning so I am on my way

I kept thinking that about the guy that was walking behind us. Every time we passed a checkpoint and they would state to the person at the checkpoint that we were the end it stung. My friend says there is another 3K in October, I may start training on cooler days and try to work up to it. Not sure. I really don't like…

Thanks everyone. I am still a tad disappointed (I am super competitive but knew I wasn't going to finish anywhere but at the end). I just have to look at it as I did it and it was something I had never done before. IF I do anothe race it will be in cooler weather. Heat makes me cranky. Lol

Yep, tried that too

Lol I tried Claritan once. Saw a purple hippopotamus bouncing through my living room and decided that may not be the best medicine for me. I may get some benadryl and see if that helps at all.

They are itchy like I have poison ivy or something. I don't feel the need to move them except to scratch.

My mother had it and my sister and I both have it. It SUCKS!

Yeah I tried lotion on them because I thought maybe dry skin but it doesn't help. I don't have diabetes or pre-diabetes. I brought this to my doc but she has no idea either. Lol

I have the Fitbit Flex and love it. Keeps me on track and motivated.

I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2006 but I think I have had it for a long time. I started gaining weight as soon as puberty hit and couldn't lose it no matter what. It is horrible! I can't take BC to control my hormones and am allergic to metformin so it has been a struggle.

I have struggled with this since I was a pre-teen. Over the last two weeks I have been trying to take control of my portions by eating more protein and less carbs and sugar. I slipped up tonight and ordered pizza but on the plus side I didn't eat the whole thing like I used to! Feel free to add me, I am always up for a…

The hardest part is going to be not having a scale while I am on vacation. Lol. I actually like looking at the scale now because the number is moving in the direction I want it to. :) I have a food plan all set to go for the parks and will be doing research on what restaurants they have before we leave each morning to see…
