Crisps are one thing I absolutely cannot keep in the house. I'm fine with having a small portion (put in a plate or bowl never straight from the bag because it is easy to lose track of portion sizes) if we are at a party or someone's house but if it's in the pantry I keep going back for "just 1 more" It's actually happened…

I got mine and it fits great! I'll post pics soon! I also want 1 or 2 more LOL!

@middlehaitch and @quiksylver296 oh thank you! I knew I had lost weight but those pics really made me realize how much of a difference it's made! When it's been 1 year and 4 months the change can be so gradual you don't always realize.

I went to a friends b-day party and although I am sure I went over my calories (I didn't end up tracking) I know I didn't end up eating nearly as much as I would have in the past! I would sometimes reach for something and catch myself, asking are you hungry or just want the food? I did have some things just because I…

I so can't wait to be "supah bulky" 15 more pounds to go until I can start recomp! Already started lifting though!

I'm a lazy weigher for pre-packaged, individual portioned items. The only things I do weight are things like rye bread which has all sorts of different sized slices in the package, otherwise I don't weigh and go with what the package says. So far my weight loss has progressed as predicted but I know where I will have to…

It's going to depend on you really, I love my Fitbit since I love tracking all the data and I get an extra push to move to reach the goals I set on my Fitbit. I have the Versa and love it, Hubby really likes his Inspire HR because of the slimmer look.

Most likely your muscles are retaining water from the walking. When you do new/different exercise your muscle needs to heal after and retains water during that time, this should go away in a few days.

I've lost an Elephant's heart and a Chihuahua SO close to a small bail of hay!!!

Weight loss is definitely not linear, here's a graph of me weighing myself daily for a little over 80 days. You'll notice that like you I once in a while had a few days in a row where I lost nothing, just hang in there. But you do have to eat more, weigh all your food on a food scale, make sure the entries you choose are…

I'm donating as I go, if I ever need bigger clothes again these will be too old/out of style or they are cheap to replace basics anyways so no point keeping anything. At my highest weight I bought really cheap/crappy clothes. I am however keeping a few quality pieces that I am hoping I'll be able to have taken in. I am…

1. Food Scale 2. MFP 3. My home gym 4. My Fitbit 5. Coffee Honourable mention to my dog who LOVES going for jogs, the only reason I go sometimes is those sad puppy eyes! Also a good pair of running shoes!

For us I've asked hubby to keep foods I can't control myself around (chips and certain types of cookies) at work and other foods like candy he keeps in a bin that is his, telling myself it is HIS keeps me away from it. We have talked about it though, I did not demand it, just asked if he would be ok with that and he was…

Not currently in maintenance but I have tried and failed at it before, so I have hopefully learned from my mistakes! I definitely needed some concrete goals to stick with to succeed. My plan for when I get there this time is to switch to fitness goals, running faster/further, lifting heavier, nailing funky yoga poses, I…

I don't really want to do a 10k training because I wouldn't ever have time to run a full 10k, most of my running is going to be from work to home so always about a 7k distance. Unless I get much faster I don't think I want to make my run home any longer than I have to LOL! I am a very slow jogger so I definitely don't do a…

YAY! I'm still on the lookout for mine! Maybe this weekend, I need a new bathing suit soon none of my other ones fit anymore!!

Mine is the exact same, he started wearing an activity tracker and tracking calories because he wanted to put on more muscle and while it looked like he was always eating, and he was, he just wasn't taking in that many calories. Like yours my hubby is just one of those people that are able to naturally regulate their…

Still any loss at all is good…

This is really interesting, thank for posting I am new to weight lifting and hadn't heard of this exercise yet, I will add it to my weight lifting routine! I also spend most of my day sitting at a desk and I am also having a hard time progressing on my OHP, so hopefully this will help!

Lost another half inch off my waist! From 35 inches down to 28.5! My original goal was 28 inches and I am so close to that now!!! Also the size 8 skinny jeans I bought a few months ago which fit a bit snug then are now very loose! I was hoping to fit into 6's but looks like I am well on my way to fit into 4's! I have never…

Yes I knew this so I guess my NEAT/BMR/heart rate may just generally be higher than others who have posted in this thread.

Yeah not sure but I am losing weight as predicted by my deficit so I guess I'm lucky? It may lower by quite a bit when I reach my goal weight. This was Monday which included a slow 5km jog:

Yep I also relate to this. Some days I feel amazing, beautiful, and proud of all the weight I've lost (49lbs). Other days I feel absolutely disgusted by myself and the weight I still need to lose (20lbs). Sometimes it's both at once and very tough!

Should be 487 but due to vacations in places with no cell service I am at 94

Hello, fellow couch potato here! I am lazy and always will be I have made my peace with that! What I did is just started exercising and just kept doing it, I know it's said all the time but you really do have to make it a habit, a part of your life. You can't rely on motivation because it doesn't stick around, you have to…

For weight loss I've just picked a random number within a healthy bmi and plan on adjusting that goal with how I feel/look in the mirror. I've already adjusted my goal down 5 lbs and I am thinking of lowering it another 5. For fitness it's about what I want my body to be able to do, currently I want it to be able to run…
