The thread linked above is really good. I like the meal plans you can find on Skinnytaste.com too. I always use the recipe builder and input the actual weights of the ingredients I am using though.

I use MFP to log my foods and Fitbit to estimate my calorie burn throughout the day as well as my exercise burns.
-
Ended up skipping/moving my rest day to Friday instead and did week 6 day 3: Shoulders last night! Legs tonight!

Healthy eating and exercise HELPS my depression and anxiety but it by no means CURED it. I still get very, very bad days. I'm also unmedicated which probably doesn't help.

It's definitely doable in a healthy way. Maybe suggest she joins MFP here. I'm 5'2" and my goal is 125 so I imagine being 1 inch taller than me it can still be a healthy weight. She might want to talk to a dietician, she may also be developing some eating disorders that may need to be addressed, so MFP might not be helpful…

Are you using the regular app or the zombies 5k one? The 5k training one will have HIIT! You can also turn off the chases on the regular app and run your own HIIT instead, that's what I plan on doing. I downloaded the Couch25k app on my Fitbit and will be using both Zombies run and C25K to train because I've done the…

My Mom is the SAME way! She keeps whining at me that she can't lose weight and I keep telling her she needs to eat less calories, which she keeps interpreting as eat less foods and she says she doesn't eat a lot. Which is true however what she does eat is high in calories. For example she switched from adding a bit of…

I've gotten it once or twice so far, only when I let it slip that I am still working on losing, I try not to talk about my weight loss. One was from a co-worker who's fit and tends to "Mom" other co-workers a bit so I took the comment as her just being a Mom and making sure I don't overdo it. I normally just tell people I…

Oh yes I remember one particular run I got some very strange looks because I was crying!!! LOL!

Ugh yes people always get stuck on calorie counting = obsessed and unhealthy oh and especially if you weigh your food! It literally adds 2-5 minutes to my day to weigh and log, I wouldn't count that as obsessive! Now the spreadsheet I keep and update every day with my weight, calories burned (according to Fitbit), calories…

LIIFT 4 - Week 6 day 2: Back and Biceps done last night debating between taking my rest day tonight or pushing through and doing the next workout since I never end up working out on Fridays.

Go you! I only lost 40 in a year with 25 still to go but I'm still chugging along, stories like your inspire me to keep going even at my snail's pace!
-
Yes I'm still at a deficit where I can do this so I try to be a bit under everyday (60-100 cals) so on Saturdays I can have a bigger treat meal. I also only have 2 meals rather than 3 on the Saturdays as I get more enjoyment/feelings of satiety from bigger meals rather than a bunch of smaller ones. I wish I could do this…

Let's all join and breathe some life back into the group then! So can't wait for my pay next week to get myself some new shoes!!!

I do because I eat giant salads and my spinach and romaine can sometimes add up to a lot. Todays spinach, romaine, green onions, radishes and cucumber which are usually very low calorie amounts intake adds up to over 50 calories so it can make a difference. I mean if your talking one leaf of iceberg on your sandwich that…

Sure! You can friend me either way lol.

Stay in a calorie deficit. Unfortunately there is no way to spot reduce fat, you body/genetics decides where you lose fat first.
-
I used to use it and love it and I would really like to start using the app again! I'm starting a C25K program as soon as I can buy new running shoes. I'd be interested in a group!

I have 2 bins of old clothes that I slowly added to over the years as I "outgrew" my clothes. Every time I lose about 5lbs I pull the 2 out and try on the stuff I was close to fitting into last time. Some of the clothes have been donated but I have re-found some gems! A lot of stuff barely got worn and a few items never as…

It's kinda sad seeing all these wonderful people giving out well-thought out responses and being basically told "you're helping me RONG"

Do you have a food processor? I have a friend who is just like you and he LOVES and raves about how good my chili is, and it is CHOCK full of veggies, he just can't see them! I do the same with my pasta sauce. I put all veggies through the food processor and chop them up really small but not into a paste and they blend…

I eat these a lot with greek yogourt https://sweetpeasandsaffron.com/no-flipping-meal-prep-protein-pancakes-sheet-pan/

I log them all, especially fruit as I love fruit and the calories add up fast with those. A slice of lettuce on a sandwich is not a big deal but a giant salad with all sorts of veggies in it? Definitely adds up! I mean I eat a big bowl of cucumbers fairly often and they can add up to 30-40 calories, for me as a short woman…

I'm wearing the same spiderweb leggings right now LOL!
-
Not yet an after but a pretty motivating (at least to me) during!
-
26 more pounds. Doing a handstand.
-
I'm not sure 1 week at each level is enough to really tell though..
-
My mini goal is that I am 4 lbs away from being back to the weight I was in October when I fell off the wagon a bit!
-
Same here! Sometimes I do but most of the time I don't log my hot sauce and I add it to a lot of stuff.

I'm 5'2", 150lbs, and currently losing 1lb/week and eating 1400-1600 a day depending on my activity. Are you sure 1200 is right? It seems too low to me.
