I'm 5'4 have lost 54lbs so far ..dr. Recommend 1400 but was ok with 1200 I stay within those but drink lots of water no sugar or bread ..

Try to eat smaller portions of bread and carbs like rice and beans double up on veggies .. I cut bananas into slices dip in dark chocolate and freeze them that way my husband and I get a taste of sweet .. I've lost 56lbs all together I'm from DFW in Texas .,
