I haven’t been weighing in cuz I haven’t been tracking and am scared to look at the scale. Thanks for keeping this group going. I’ll start tracking this week and start weighing next week! Thanks!

I did a whole month of Whole 30 but shortly after covid19 and shut down started I lost my focus on food and have been winging it. I’ve been doing workout videos at home I’m going to reset this coming week and track again.

Congrats to everyone who have lost! As for myself, I’ve been struggling to keep up with my weight loss goals. Working full time and studying for a graduate level certification for my career and going through upper body physical therapy. So have not been able to successfully carry out meal planning especially with bday…

@squirley13 you totally don’t look as old as you make yourself out to be. I also haven’t been sleeping well so I’ve decided to be gentle with myself and not sweat it since stress actually makes the body hold on to the weight.
-
Great idea! My first quarter goals are: 1). Eat less fats: stay within mfp’s budget. 2). Log everything! Including restaurant food! And even when I’m going over budget. 3). Move every day even if it’s not a full workout 4). Stop being so critical of myself

Lost 2 lbs since last weigh in.

@nickylee76 wohoo! Great job!!
-
@squirley13 Sounds great! I agree, non scale victories should also be reported. Did you want to start the non-scale victories thread?
-
Yes it does, especially when you need to lose 25 lbs! LOL. Happy New Year!

Happy New Year's Eve! If you haven't received an invite to the Lose 25 lbs in 2020 Group, and you wish to join, here is the link to the page: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/135086-lose-25-lbs-in-2020 Have fun everyone and be safe tonight!

Aspiration is to stick to the plan and not cheat on and off. In fact I’m considering a cap on cheat days per month. Meal planning and logging are half the battle for me so I’m going also make sure I make time for that.
-
@dudleycallison Sure, please feel free to start a new discussion within the group! It will be interesting to hear about everyone’s aspirations!
-
Awesome! I haven’t worked out since last week! But will pick it up again tomorrow. And I’m committing to a January 2nd as official launch of Fatoff 2020! Meanwhile been spotty with food choices as well!
-
Everyone, since there's been more replies than I counted on, I've started a group called "Lose 25 lbs in 2020." I've sent you all an invite to that group. No pressure to accept, only if you want to be able to share your successes and challenges within a group setting and bounce ideas and get support. Otherwise, we can…

@nrazborsek i don’t have any pointers at this moment except meal planning has been very helpful especially if you’re busy. and getting rid of the junk in your cabinets so there’s no temptation. Also telling your support system that you are on this plan.
-
@Cspdb3 wow 39 lbs! Very inspiring!!
-
@dudleycallison from the phone app at the bottom of the screen tap on the “more” with three dots underneath it and then find “fiends” and tap on that. From there you can add friends. But I’ll add you

@TrueGrit732 @katonfire1 I’m with you guys. I gained 7 pounds since the beginning of November!!😬

I know they say sugar is more addictive than cocaine. And it opens the door to a whole bunch of illnesses.

@squirley13 Oh wow 93 lbs! You go girl! I love swimming, I swam for 5 straight years with the masters swim team in our area but had to quit to rehab a shoulder neck issue. Now I just do that once in awhile and mostly Pilates. Yeah I meant 5 times a week! There’s no way I can do five times a day while working. I will be…
-
Yeah I lose and then I gain like a yo-yo as well so you’re not alone. I’m 41 but not for long and am going through rehab on my shoulders and feet so totally empathize with your plight. For now I’m doing a lot of Pilates rather than straight up cardio.

Wow, it must seem a formidable task to get in shape, I won’t lie to you but Christ will help you through this if you let Him! I encourage you to also consult with your doc and have your progress monitored by him! Nothing is impossible, keep the faith!
-
Not sure about tracking everyone’s weight on a graph. I’m using the phone app and I don’t think it has that functionality! Stay encouraged, your hard work will pay off!
-
Correction I meant exercise five times a week. Lol
-
Cool! I’m doing intermittent fasting and cutting out processed foods and sugars and exercising 5 times a week for at least 30 minutes. Kicking it into full gear on January 2!
-
My plan is to intermittent fasting (eat within 8-10 hour window and fast 16 to 12 hours) and no gluten and no sugar. Exercise at least 5 times a day (30 minutes minimum).
