Cheers sijmoial what programme should I follow then? Also how often should one be able to increase the weight they lift? For example on chest day is it normal to increase weight on say db press but then when you do incline you're not able to lift as much,or should you expect to see an increase on all exercises ?

Thanks mate yes BMI wise I am overweight. I have a 40inch belly which I know is high but the rest of me is quite skinny, so I fit in the skinny fat category. In the past when I have cut (as i can't loose weight on only my belly) I have shrunk all over. So my shoulders have gone more rounded and look ill. I'm hoping to…

What kind of programme would you suggest, bearing in mind I'll probably only manage 2 sessions per week, sometimes 3?

Thanks chieflrg I am aware of that but the thing is when I've cut in the past I've lost weight everywhere and because I'm skinny fat I end up looking skinny with still a belly sticking out. I was hoping to build some muscle and then cut so at least I look better for it.

Thanks guys. I train in the gym usually weds, and Saturday. I have been in the gym on and off for a few years but only made limited progress in bulking. I've tried doing full body sessions twice per week in the past, so that would be single arm row, db chest press and squats in each session and also I've tried splitting it…

Thanks guys tbh I've always felt like this. Been on a classroom based course this week and have many microsleeps during the day. I realise I need to see my gp but wanted to get a heads up first.

A lot of it is certainly generic, home made indian food and chapattis etc are very difficult to quantify.

Im 37 male, 5' 9", 75kg, pretty sedentary without exercise. I do exercise around 4 times a week two of those being weights before cardio. I lost 5kg from around October to December last year which I was pleased about. However I only recalculated my calorie requirement based on my new weight about two weeks ago.

I could probably add more protein supplements to my diet but that would push me over the 1500 calories I've been allocated.
-
I was worried that my metabolism has just slowed and my body is now just used to the cardio and diet so just stopped burning the fat.

I feel more toned in recent days but my belly hasn't dropped at all. My physique is generally quite slim but my belly is quite large. Feel free to check my food diary, I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks for the reply.
