Lol I just experienced this whole PMS craving business for the first time yesterday and let me tell you, I ate everything in sight! Yesterday was a mess. I still logged everything though. Moving on to today, not a single craving in sight but Aunt Flo showed up. Diary is open for anyone who wants to see yesterday's madness.

Good point because I often noticed a discrepancy in calories from the label and then what comes up on the log. I don't eat any more than what I log. I'm generally not hungry and often increase my portion sizes to hit my daily calories.

I have Lupus to and it can be pretty tough during a flare. Just for now adjust your activity level to sedentary and take it easy. As you and I both know stress will take you out of remission. 1200-1300 calories a day will work for some if that's what is calculated for them. Some people find snacking a trigger so I can't say that it's wrong. All I can say is that it's not for me. It has already calculated a deficit for you. Eat the minimum at the very least. It's up to you if you choose to eat your exercise calories or not. Keep in mind that the more active you are the more energy/calories your body needs. For me personally, I eat about half of my exercise calories along with my daily caloric goal.…

I'm right where you are! I just started and I am at 365 now down 5lbs this week. I'm also 39 and a mom of 5. Oldest 22 and youngest 3 months old. It seems a bit daunting, but little by little we will get there.
