  • I'm in too! I want to drop 20 lbs and stick with my personal training regime so I can be back doing 5Ks without walking.
  • Just jumping in to say I started Virta on January 18th. I don't have diabetes but high blood pressure with a high BMI. I like that I have a health coach and doctor reviewing my information and it helps to keep me accountable. I have already lost a bit of weight and have really changed my eating habits. It is a bit hard on…
  • I also have the Veri desk mentioned above. I love it. I have some lower back pain when standing for a while so I just bought an anti fatigue mat to stand on and I can use it all day. Keeps me not just standing, but I do move more. I now pace when I am on calls or just keep moving while standing. I am sure it does burn more…
  • Follow the DASH diet. It is for heart health and helps with the other areas as well. You can find it online. I am surprised your doctor didn't recommend it.
  • I started out with about the same stats. I put in .5 lbs a week and I can have almost 1800 calories and lose weight. I do supplement with exercise, but I found I wasn't so hungry with that amount of food and I was consistently losing. I would struggle with 1200 a day. I want this to be something I can do for the rest of my…

At the one I go to they really watch your form even on the treadmill. I have been doing this for about 5 months while supplementing…
  • I add them under Cardio and then put in the calories they give. After that I will decide whether to eat them all back or not :)
  • You won't be able to reset but you can delete previous entries. So if you don't have too many you can manually delete them all and start over.
  • If you really need to track put your phone in airplane mode and then your entries will sync locally on your phone. Once you can get wifi it should upload to your account. But as most have said I would just keep active and enjoy your time on your honeymoon!
  • I never completed full 10K in training, but when it came to race day I did it. For me it was all mental and I kept telling myself I can go just a bit farther and I did. My time was super slow, but I finished. Now getting ready for the next one in September.
