Welcome. This is my 3rd round of MFP. It works but you have to stick with it which is much easier with others along for the journey. I am 42 and have about 90 I want to lose. First goal though is to get back to onederland and that is 33 pounds. Feel free to add me

You shouldn't let yourself get hungry. There are lots of nutrient dense low cal foods. Fruits and vegies mostly. If you let yourself get too hungry, your willpower will go out the window and you will fall face first into a big bowl of something unhealthy. Always have snacks that keep you going.

WW Points Plus is a good tool. However, it is just a tool. You can use MFP in the same vein but instead tracking calories or macros instead of points. Biggest plus to WW that I have found in the past was just having the accountability to checking in with someone and either enjoying the success or the shame of not staying…

I am 5'5" and am currently looking at a goal of 150. I know I look good at 145 but I am going to just be flexible and adjust as I get closer. Thanks Lizzy. It is so hard to always hear so much criticism and advice from people who have no idea what I may or may not be doing and then the judgements.... You are right, it is important to take some time for me which is what I am trying to do.

I like subway's chopped salad. get the veggie one and use Spinach instead of Lettuce and then add all the vegies. If you get the banana peppers, when they chop it all up, you get the spicy juice from the peppers in almost every bite and don't need a dressing at all.
