Thanks everyone. It is truly encouraging and inspiring. I still have ways to go before I achieve my weight goal but I hope I get there. I dont have any timeline per se, but getting there by late August/ early September timeframe will be good for my marathon run since I plan on running the Marine Corps Marathon. Not sure…

I have a small running group that is helping me run.. My speed is awful and I am usually last to finish the run but the group is very helpful and accommodating which rarely happens. So this has helped me quiet a bit! And ofcourse MFP motivation forum threads!

Hi, I need help and support. I am trying real hard to start the Jillian Michael 30 day shred but somehow cannot get myself to do it. I think I need some help/motivation/support to get me started and stay on course for the next 30 days. Any help would be great. Thanks!

5/15 - 3 mile walk 5/16 - 8 mile run 5/17 - 4 mile run + 3 mile walk total - 97/150

Am I too late? Can I start today 5/18? Maybe if I do this continuously through the next 14 days I can catch up. I am not planning on using this to lose weight but want to get started on strengthening my core which I need for running. Doing it with a very motivational group will be useful.

Rest day 5/11 - 4 mile walk, 5/12 - 6 mile run, total - 68, 132 more miles to go, if I cannot hit 100 by 15th (very unlikely), I will change the goal for rest of the month to 150.

did 6 miles on 5/9 and 4 miles on 5/10, so total is now 58 miles as of 5/10. Judging by progress so far, I might fall short of goal of 200 miles for the month but will re-calibrate the goal as the month progresses.

May 6th - 3.5 mile run + 9 mile bike Total - 30 + 12.5 = 42.5 Remaining miles - 200-42.5 = 157.5 Also did few hours of strength training and elliptical over last 2 days
