Get out there! As PP said, doing something because you enjoy it is good enough. Here's what gets me out when I am struggling: find some podcasts or download some audiobooks that you really love. Only let yourself listen to them when you're out for a walk. But seriously, there are so many reasons to walk. It's good for you.…

I struggle with getting snacky when bored too. I either drink a cup of herbal tea or brush and floss my teeth. Those usually stop the snacking. Good luck!

I followed the novice 1 plan that @briansharpe linked to for my first half, and it got me plenty ready in less time than you've got. I totally recommend it. Happy training!

Why do you want to lose weight? Sit down and make a list of all the reasons; all the things that will be better when you lose the weight. When your trigger foods are calling your name, review your list and ask if you want all those things more than the momentary pleasure the food will give you.

Not starting it, but finished a few weeks ago. Just wanted to tell you it's an awesome program that made me so much stronger. It's tough, but if you hang in there, you'll love what it can do for you.

I workout at home to DVDs while my kid naps, and have since she was 1. It's not the same as going to the gym, for sure, but it's easier for me to have someone else put the workout together and I just press play. My favorite instructor for weightlifting is Cathe. Good luck!

What video? I use the type of exercise in the video. For example, MFP doesn't allow me to track the exact video I did today, but it's a circuit workout, so I used that category for tracking. The calorie count doesn't match exactly what my HRM said, but it's pretty close.

I'm just starting tracking macros too, but I think that it can be hard to hit the numbers exactly every single day unless you're eating exactly the same foods for every meal. So I try for what PP indicated, getting as close to the macro goal as possible, with the aim of +/- 5. Good luck!
