@jugar I have a late weigh-in for Ella Hope002 today. Should I enter it in? It's 181.6.

Done. Missed you. Enjoy your holidays, Lisa!

@jugar Could you please move Freeglerock to the cheer squad until January. Thanks!

That can't be real. Check the batteries on your scale if it's electronic and drink a lot of water today. At least now, you seem set to lose on Christmas week. That's a gift. ;)

Update: Over $2,000 has been raised and there's a cool trivia fact about the wooden version of this art piece, which is huge and has lived out front of the artist's home for nine months. The jar 'containing' the virus was cut out and stolen for a while, only to be returned and put back in place.

These are great pics. You could totally repurpose the picture of the teacher giving the thumbs up and turn it into a New Year's e-card. You know, giving 2020 the finger.

As seen in new groups... I wonder, does Bob @KUMEcyclingteam have anything to do with this?
-
@podperson1 I'm sorry to hear you're struggling, Shelli. It all makes perfect sense. Work and missing your families are such big stressors. I hope you get a well-deserved rest over the holidays even if your celebration is different than usual. When it's time, you will find the right headspace again. Big, big hug!

p.s. It's really cold this morning. Xavy has to put on a scarf to go bark at the squirrels.

So true, Ann. I've always been a believer in 'eating up,' as I've come to call it.

Thanks, Ashley. You're an amazing co-captain and I've loved sharing this role with you. I am stepping back as it's become very busy for me. My new business has launched, I'm hiring genealogists from all over North America at the moment and am working from morning to night. I've become chair of the Ontario Chapter…

@Cafelelia Thanks for sharing the elf dance! I have a big smile on my face thanks to your boys. Oh, I love your fridge. We used to have a pink one with pink egg trays and everything. I think it was a Fridgidaire. Interestingly, it was when we lived in your neighbourhood on Sorauren. Funny. Merry Christmas!

Great loss, Kristie!

Another one to cheer you up. This video shows my former neighbourhood and my business partner’s current neighbourhood during lockdown this holiday season. Here in Toronto, we can do business curbside and try to shop local. https://www.facebook.com/groups/TheAnnexToronto/permalink/3507932749272790/

Pic for Today An artist in our neighbourhood painted this for a sign in front of her house. She made 18" x 12" posters to raise money for a food bank and I was the first customer. It's happily on my fridge now.

Great outfit! So happy you had fun and no migraine.

On My Walk This Evening I took the picture to show you the 'Miss You xx' sign (which is over the entrance to a little upstairs music club where my son met his wife at a birthday party) and right then a motorcyclist rode by with a Hanukkah menorah on the back of his bike. It's a very mild evening so nice for a holiday ride…

I forgot about those. They are great. I still have brand new ones on standby even though I don’t run anymore. Not that I won’t at some point...I guess.

This sounds really painful, Linda. I hope a few sessions will do the trick. Resting is really good, so don't feel bad if you have to miss work again. It's a good investment in your body.
-
I hope you feel better soon, Marcy. I haven't had cortisol but have had dry needles (that was for a hamstring issue), active release therapy (painful but effective chiropractic method), and acupuncture. For shin splints, the RICE method worked for me. It's really the patience to wait it out that's key. For plantar…

Great loss, Linda! So happy for you.

Congratulations, Kandi! What a milestone. Great idea to stop and smell the roses, erm, eat the cookies

Thanks. I like how it's a one-serving recipe. :)

Christmas Tree Walk Every year in the before times, we would decorate a 10-foot tree on Christmas Eve together as a family. Each one of us would get a new decoration, we'd wear Christmas pajamas, I'd referee sibling rivalry tiffs, they'd tease me a lot, and we'd unpack our stockings. This year we'll be having an outdoor…

That sounds so good. Could you share the recipe please, Kandi? I would love to try it.

Pam, I try to avoid lying down or having any arm motion in my periphery. Taking this into account and thinking about your shoulder, here are some good ab exercises. Seated leg raises are good for your lower abs. Here's one where you lift your feet over an object in an arc from left to right:…

I use a Fitbit Versa now and worked my way up to that model having had the Fitbit Zip (I think it was called) that was this little thing I just clipped to my bra. I have the Fitbit Aria scale that syncs with it and love the system. A long time ago, when I used to run, I had a Garmin. I don't know much about their current…

@bumpbreakcar Let's call this a maintain. You've got this! On another note, I'm curious about your username. Sometimes I think it has to do with the carnival ride bumper cars, other times I think it's what my son might say about my driving with my foot on the brake. ;)

@Cafelelia Thanks for the hygge inspiration. It certainly is cold outside this morning.
