LOL. That would sell, you know.

What a great idea!

I'm very sad to say that the firstborn puppy, much smaller than the other two, passed away in my care ~ I want to say in my arms but you can see that she is as small as a mouse, this afternoon. Here is the last picture (screenshot of a video). We took the video because she was eating so well. In her short six-day life she…

If I lived closer, I'd come and transplant them in my garden.

Pam, I had a diagnosis of arthritis a few years back, maybe five, when my foot really hurt. I thought maybe I had a stress fracture from hiking. It r.e.a.l.l.y hurt. So my doctor sent me for an x-ray. The secretary at my doctor's office had a good laugh when she called me with the x-ray results. We're close. I've been…

@jugar We have a new member Queenieamy who lives somewhere that uses stones. She had her starting weight wrong because she mistakenly calculated stones to pounds incorrectly the first week. Since then, she has said she lost 6 pounds the first week and 13.5 pounds the second week, taking her from 175 to 155.5 or a total of…

@jugar Could you please add a line into the step challenge for team WNM. Maybe add two or three. I don't know what's going on, but everyone wants to take part all of a sudden. I actually wanted to cancel it, but someone said how much it meant to them. Then someone else joined and immediately had 100,000+ steps in her first…

Hey Kandi, I put you down as 2,008 steps for yesterday since the average person takes 2,000 steps per mile. I like that you take a break from your Fitbit.

Congratulations, Kirsten @kirsten11872 ! What a great plan you have on beginning maintenance. * PM me your maintenance weight range. It can be as wide or narrow as you'd like it to be. For example, 145 to 155, 148 to 150. And your magic number, i.e. specific goal weight, e.g. 149. * Starting on the first week of November…

Step Challengers I've had this image in my head all week of Tracy and her post-surgery escape to her back yard to get some steps in, husband hot on her heels, neighbours peering through their curtains wondering... This Week's Hero! Tracy @ljdanny 18,521 Escaped every day this week, increasing her daily step total from…

Big hug, Ashley @minstrelofsarcasm . Remember that you recently spent two weeks in quarantine. I remember that messed me up in April. You've got more to worry about than most when considering the science of Covid with MS. And I'm guessing your scientific mind has chewed on that more than a bit. Forgive yourself for stress…

Wow! Could it be the translation from stones getting in the way? Perhaps PM me your last weight and the one before in stones.
-
@jugar Can you put a late weigh-in on the spreadsheet for @ Cuddleme72 or should I. She weighed in today at 303.8 for what should have been a Saturday weigh-in and was marked NWI. Please let me know. Thanks, Theresa

Beautiful monsters!

Perhaps I'll go to High Park on a weekday instead. I guess we'll just do a little ride south and back and see where we wind up.

Weigh Day Username: 1theresamcvean Weigh-in week: Week 3 Weigh-in day: Friday (one day late) Previous weight: 145.0 Today's weight: 146.1 Loss to date: 31.3 Not the best and not the worst. We had our Thanksgiving dinner on Monday, which gave me less time to take off the bloat. Then the puppies were a distraction all week.…

Just the other day, I was looking at my stockpile of hot water bottles with cozies, thinking I had too many of them. So glad you brought this idea up, Lisa. Did you see the picture of the interior chimney for a firepit that I posted a couple of days ago? You'll have to let us know what your friend recommends. I just put…

Happy Birthday week, Shelli @podperson1

What a beauty! Cute little guy too
-
What a great shot, Ann. This could be in a magazine.
-
You look beautiful in both pictures. You're much happier and confident in the second. Great work!
-
Great loss considering you went out for dinner. Well done!
-
What a nice number to see. You are having a great recovery and this silver lining is a plus. Learning to eat mindfully is hard, so if you learn that from having neck surgery that's fantastic. Big hug.
-
@minstrelofsarcasm I'm going to weigh-in on Saturday rather than Friday this week. Since we had our Thanksgiving dinner on Monday, I think it will be more reflective.
-
Lisa, You look beautiful in both pictures and are one of those people whose weight loss really shows in your face. I don't think you look wrinkled but do agree that a heavier face is really youthful. It's like nature's facelift. That's okay though because weight loss overall makes you look younger in your physique.

Kirsten, This is so exciting! I'm glad you found the perfect balance of techniques that worked for you and made it to the 140s. Did you know that F2F has a maintenance thread? I'm three pounds away from goal and not sure when I'll get there but I go and check it out sometimes. It's a sneak preview of what to look forward…

Pam, It was cool. I'll never forget today. All my enriched science from grades seven and eight, when I had to write away to Guelph University (they have a veterinary program) and hatch chickens in an incubator in the back of the classroom have paid off!
