Tracy, It would have looked crazier if your husband came out to the yard and brought you back in. I think he's worried that you're doing too much too soon. LOL. I think you're doing great.

Lisa, I heard some ideas today on CBC. Electric blankets for guests in your garage, ditto extra snow pants, sweaters made of blanket material, a spring-loaded shovel because you'll be keeping things clear more than the usual footpath. Also, my in-laws used to have this central fireplace in the middle of the room. I think…

File this under 'What I Did Today' Shelby, my dog Xavy's best friend, had her puppies today and I delivered them. Somehow my neighbours were confident that I could. She had three little boys, each one bigger than the one before. They're Morkies. It was a truly wonderful experience.

Just a quick hello. Thanksgiving was spent at my son's house in Uxbridge, an hour away, and a world away from downtown Toronto. They call it the hiking capital of Canada, though somehow I think Banff might argue. Here's a picture that I didn't take but shows you how pretty it is in the fall. I'll catch up with you all…

I hear you, April. I don't usually eat so many carbs but boy was the food delicious.
-
Thanks for sharing Casey and Mia. So cute!
-
Your daughter has beautiful hair, Kandi.
-
Oh, no. I really hope it is just from exercise. If so, you're killing it. If not, it's killing you (kidding). Pay close attention and take care. xo

I love glasses too. Good thing because I wear them. I really like your glasses and love how you have the two different looks. I also think it's lovely that Ben found a bold blue pair that he is excited about. I have four pairs right now that I like. Sunglasses with all three distances. Computer only ones with lovely blue…

Welcome back, Pam. We've missed you. Don't worry about catching up. It'll seem like you haven't missed a day by tomorrow I bet. xo
-
@jugar Can you please excuse Caitlin @ kittengirl from weigh-in this week AND change her to Mondays starting next week. She has had an allergic reaction to eggs.
-
Congratulations! ...if I don't say so myself. More importantly, congratulations Kirsten and April!

Hi Cassie, I had an MRI on my brain and found that staying very still really helped. My mother told me to imagine something easy that would fully occupy my mind. Her idea was to imagine a store that I was very familiar with and walk up and down the aisles looking for things in my mind's eye. That helped. If I got panicky,…

@Beka3695 Also regarding Kirsten11872, she didn’t just enter the 140s, she also lost 40+ lbs. I think she’ll keep it off.
-
Rest well. You've got to recover and the furthest you should walk is to that gravity chair.
-
@Beka3695 Milesone for congrats at month end @ kirsten11872 has entered the 140s. She's at 149.4 and almost to goal.

Great stepping and thanks for the Thanksgiving wishes, Lisa!
-
Great maintain, Amy! Thank goodness I'm Canadian and you told me that this was stones and pounds.
-
Hugs, Timi. It sounds like you're turning it around. Even a bad week, won't stop the success you're having. You've got this!
-
@jugar Can you please change @ Queenieamy 's starting weight to 175. There was a translations issue with stones and pounds. Thanks!
-
Just 3 pounds away for me. Lurking around here to see if it helps me get there soon. I'm Theresa from Toronto and am a co-captain on team Weight No More from where @debbiewsharpe hails. I'm also in the group Sole Mates, where she is a captain. One thing I've learned from her is that a high step count and counting on your…

Whoa! This made my day, Sheryl. On another note, I cannot find the dark chocolate hummus again anywhere. This time I got garlic. I was surprised that we even had chocolate in Canada. We have a less variety.

Sometimes a week like this can actually kick you into fat burning again. Just occasionally, and for short stretches, it can help you land on a new set point. You've got this!

Weigh Day 1theresamcvean Weigh-in week: Week 1 Weigh-in day: Friday Previous weight: 147.3 Today's weight: 145.0 Loss to date: 32.4 A great relief. I lost the weight I gained last week due to stress eating. That was easy. I just logged and ate as normally as possible. I still had some treats. I'm back at my lowest weight…

Thanks, Debbie. Where I live, we are supposed to have Thanksgiving only with those that live within our house. But, since I live alone, I can associate with one other household. So, I'll be going to my son's. My daughter won't be able to join us. In addition, she is having another surgery for her cancer today. She has to…
-
I'm so happy that you're recovering so well, Tracy! Big hugs and congratulations on getting through this stage of it all.
-
Good news, especially about relaxing into the new line. I hope you can move shifts if that's what you want to do. So many health things are 'idiopathic.' At least it's in your file in case it comes back with more clues.
-
I was thinking about your son today, Lisa. That was an important time for me as a student too. Back then, we didn't speak up for ourselves. I thought to myself today, I'll bet this results in a solution. Good for him! He'll always remember this.

Have a Happy Birthday tomorrow, Shelli!
