Today was a very bad fatigue day so I didn't move much at all. Tonight I felt better so I walked the dog with my daughter. It was a lot of fun and it's something I said I could see myself doing in the future. Well the future started today.

I didn't do any Spring cleaning today, but that will be my focus, at least until May 27th after the garage sale. Instead, I went shopping/walking for at least 2 hours and found my daughter's grad dress. I am still using the new reminder app on my phone.

Today I was suffering from fatigue, so I didn't walk and napped a lot. I did do some of my one thing by moving every hour (when I wasn't napping). I even did some squats and stretched out my hips. That felt great.

My One Thing is going very well. I am using the new app on my phone, set to remind me every hour to get up and move I'm actually finding it easy to do. Tonight, I also went through a very large box, getting ready for our garage sale.

I now work at home as well but now I sit at a desk up in my office. I downloaded an app on my phone and set it up to remind me every hour to get up and move. I'm finding it very easy. I have also gone downstairs to the microwave to reheat my coffee instead of just drinking it cold.

My plan during the week at work is to stand, stretch and move for 1 minute every 1/2 hour to an hour. For now, I'm going to get up every hour/half hour and move for 1 minute while at work and watching tv. In the future, I can see my self walking the dog ( once she's trained), I really want to get a pedometer and dancing to Just Dance again. I would like to be able to bike ride again too. I had berries on my oatmeal this morning and berries and low fat granola on my greek yogurt for a snack tonight. I can't wait for home grown strawberries. Lots of them here in Ontario.

I didn't "play" outside today but I did more running around and errands. It gives me a huge sense of accomplishment when I get things done.

This has been a very, very rewarding experience for me. I have become aware that I am now able to move more. The quote above has a very emotional meaning for me. It's not just about moving and being active but, for me, most of all it's about regaining and finally living my life. Thank you for changing me for the better.

I am definitely moving more now. I believe that tiny habits are possible. I am seeing a change in my behaviour as well: getting up to get things instead of asking others, getting up and putting stuff away.
