I clicked on this thread just for the comments... I've not been disappointed: "poop tea" ... LOL @Ready2Rock206

I recently discovered that the Costco Food Court pepperoni slice of pizza has less calories than the cheese only slice of pizza... same size (roughly because obviously not every pizza slice is exactly the same size)... I guess they put more cheese on it in order to make up for the lack of toppings... So "no toppings" is…

OMG that would be an awful way to live.. not only is that hardly any food, but the same damn thing every day?!? No thank you! No wonder your stressed!
-
I would think your weight loss would be motivating enough... I'm sorry it isn't...
-
Well, even if you are "fat" are you not working on "not being fat"? So don't feel bad... it's a process and it takes time. Just do what you know you need to do and if you get to that "guilty" place, don't dwell there.
-
I have an idea what you mean... but I don't feel "guilty", I feel "fat", no matter what I eat... Good or Bad, not that I really consider any food "bad" but you get my meaning. I just don't let it get to me though..because I know that in reality I'm not, and that I'm doing everything right... I've been doing this for almost…

I don't have pain, but my shoes are bigger... didn't think losing weight would make that much of a difference in my shoe size... my feet weren't fat before, they've always had a bony structure to them, but now my shoes are too big! So yeah, I guess losing weight does change your feet!

I'm in the same boat... Sending a "Friend Requests" to you @awildmiri and @Sam101my
-
Yup it's genetics! I've lost 22 pounds and my stomach and thighs, and calves ARE smaller but they are still stubbornly holding on to fat! I look bony everywhere else! Sometimes there's really not a whole lot we can do about it and we just have to accept it. But don't give up. I'm sure your much happier than you once were…

If you add a start time to your exercise when you log it, your tracker should not count that activity into your steps for the duration of the time you log that activity. To be on the safe side though I make sure to not where my activity tracker device when doing another loggable (spelling?) activity. Also maybe only eat…

Cats love milk... though too much is not good for them, I have a pet mini-pot bellied pig and they have a lot of food restrictions, but milk is a recommended safe food for them... even my dogs love milk (although I don't think it's "a thing")... so I vote for "yes, milk"!

Sept 3rd: 8,710 You all are blowing me away! Good Job!
-
I pre-log every single day...and you best believe I include some yummy treats in there! Some days I don't actually want them so I delete them and add other food, sometimes I replace the unhealthy pre-logged snacks for healthier ones because that's what I'm craving. It's easier to remove the "bad" foods and replace them…

Off subject, but a visit to Ireland is on my (and my husband's) bucket list. We are going to Spain this year, hoping to visit Ireland next!
-
Fruits and veggies I also weigh, by grams, and enter that amount in my diary. It then calculates the calories for me. That's why I pre-log all my food so I know if the foods/servings I am planning on eating fit into my calories for the day.
-
I go by the serving size on the package. For example, a serving of pinto beans is 130g so I measure out exactly 130g. If I calorie wise I can afford to eat more than that, then I will. I will just make sure to account for every gram I consume of those beans in my food diary.

Oh, IMO that's when you can politely tell her that maybe it's the fact that she's not eating and drinking so many red bulls. And when she says it's the only way she can lose weight... Suggest MFP. If after that she still insists that she needs to continue w/ her habit, then you should leave it alone. Regardless of how…

Is she young... I did a lot of destructive things to my body in the quest to lose weight when I was younger. It didn't take until nearly 40 for me to realize I was hurting myself.
-
The sad thing is, I mean besides the obvious, is she is probably consuming more calories w/ her Red Bull habit then she would if she ate regular low-cal meals.
-
I don't. But when I have a day where I go over, like for an unexpected outing/special occasion that I didn't prepare for ahead of time by watching what I eat or doing extra exercise, I use the fact that I have been burning calories through Fit Bit to make me feel less guilty. And since I don't eat any of them back,…

I don't count my steps on the treadmill... I count those as a separate exercise... Is there an advantage to doing so; I mean besides having your step count go up?
-
Going out was good for me: 9757 steps for Sept 1st!
-
Today is a slow day for me... 4:31 and only at 5,114 steps. My average day is about 8,000, so I have a lot to make up for today... But I am going out tonight so I think I can do it, IDK about 10,000 though... I got Over 12,000 on Sunday!
-
Sent you both invites... I just got a Fit Bit about a week ago
-
Hmmm....I store my scale sideways all the time...takes up less room in my bathroom that way... Interested in what others have to say.
-
Does this include people who track steps via Fit Bit? Or is there another thread for that?
-
I plan to continue to weigh everyday. I feel like if I do this I can take corrective action immediately if I see the scale go up.
-
Yes, @Moter98, it was and you and both agreed that was just crazy!
