Very much with you on this! You just feel better when your body is properly fueled with nutritious foods and the right macro balance, which definitely doesn't mean never eating anything less nutritious but extra delicious...!
-
Eh, do I think it makes sense to label foods explicitly good or bad? Not really, however there's no argument that some foods are more nutritious/better for you physically (chocolate is good for everyone's mental health!) than others. I think that with that understanding, people could participate in the discussion of what…

Oh man, are people ever on the defensive about the terminology "clean eating"! Personally, I like the idea of it (although not bound by specific rules such as whether or not it's pronounceable) because typically foods that are considered clean (whole foods, not processed with significant additional sodium/fat/sugar added,…

Thanks a bunch! It's SUCH a great workout. Your one-legged wheel is pretty stellar; that's a tough pose. You look super fit!
-
Can't see much, but that looks like a fun bike, which means you've probably got a pretty fun-loving personality as well!
-
Boots and their fit are very personal, as they have to fit a person's foot (length, width, and arch) and calf. There are a huge variety out there, but as an actual equestrian + owner of a few pairs of boots haha, some of my favourite brands are Rockport, Clarks, Blondo, Vince Camuto, etc. If you're looking to splurge, take…

@holly23cali I bought this one back when the Canadian dollar wasn't horrible for $35: http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B005WLPVUG?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00. Super happy with it, but there are many other scales available for between $10 - $20, particularly if you're in the US. ...On that note, it's…

I do, yes. Finally bit the bullet and bought a food scale (not sure why I avoided it for so long, they're really not expensive - perhaps I didn't want to know what I was eating that specifically!). It's actually made a really big difference for me in tracking accurately. There are a few foods where it's definitely like…

I find making breakfasts high in protein and fibre leave me feeling full for quite a while. Some of my favourite breakfasts: - Smoothie (1/4 cup of OJ, 1/2 banana, 40g spinach, 175g of plain Greek yogurt, 15g of chia seeds, 75g of berries, and top it up with enough water to blend) - Fried egg(s) with half an avocado and…

Age: thisclose to 28 Height: 5'9" HW: 180lbs LW: 147lbs (it's been about a decade...) CW: 163.5lbs GW: 145lbs I've been on a pretty good logging streak lately and am seeing results, which is motivating when all I want to do is carb rage. Main activities are circuit training and pole fitness/aerial arts in the winter; in…

It isn't so much about the texture (flours can be different grinds even within the same 'type'). Bread flour has more protein, and therefore will produce more gluten able to hold more carbon dioxide (given off by the yeast), giving you that coveted bread/pizza crust chew and crumb (baker's speak for the air bubbles in your…

Those biceps/shoulders, girl! Way to go!

Wears sunglasses on a sunny day, and likes to rhyme!

I actually find the thongs with lace sides work best, because the lace has no seams in it and is stretchy so lies super flat and doesn't push into any slightly softer areas. YMMV!
-
Likewise. I'd like to say no, but the reality is, even if it's a lifestyle change, I'm eating less than I'd like to or need to in order to maintain my weight, which means eating in a deficit AKA diet... Can't wait for maintenance... Haha I love food!

Contagious smile!

Doll-like features!
-
Probably has the upper body strength to be pretty great at pole if he wanted to! :P
-
Has soft, silky hair!

Lovely eyes and a great sense of humour - gotta love Anchorman!

Kind eyes.

Outdoorsy with a cute pup.

Aw, thanks doll! Haha, it definitely wasn't easy, and I'm not sure I'm talented... Just love it enough to work hard at it! My first class I couldn't even hold on to do the most basic spin if it makes you feel any better haha. I fell in love with pole as a way of getting stronger and improving flexibility - can do pull-ups…

Lovely eyes!

This was actually great for me to see, too, because I've been struggling with something similar! Thanks for the question, Carol - and for the reassurance and stats, 257_Lag! I love strength training and have recently got back into it, but was pretty frustrated after having seen some decent weight loss results that my…

Starting the pill (Tricyclen) made a huge difference in my skin (that's what I had initially started it for as well). I did have some side effects, but nothing major. The most noticeable was that my boobs grew a bit (my previously A-cup self wasn't upset about that!), but I also had some weight gain. Nothing major, but it…

You can reach out to people who have posted their own stats, but as of right now there isn't a formal matching process happening. Doesn't have to be your age!
-
I've followed up with Mickipedia, but haven't heard back yet... Hopefully soon!

You definitely have to want it for yourself, but it can be massively motivating to have someone pushing through with you. Try finding a buddy in the forums! I've found a few, and one in particular has been incredibly motivating (and I like to think I'm helpful to her, too!). Having someone to be accountable to, to champion…
