Yes, homemade strawberry-rhubarb pie is "processed junky stuff" - the last time I ate a strawberry-rhubarb pie (maybe two Thanksgivings' ago) all I had was one single bite because it was far too sweet for me. I don't remember ever being bothered by the sweetness of pie before. It was a let down for sure... It wasn't what I…

Cookies (and the like), candy, frozen dinners, lots of packaged/canned/boxed things (with exceptions). Knowing it's literally impossible to avoid processed food, I just try to avoid the overtly processed things. I most certainly eat rice, ground meat, bread (rarely, not a fan of bread in general), canned beans and frozen…

For me personally... yes, when I abstain from processed junky stuff and go back to it, it tends to taste awful or not as good as I remember.

I buy the individual single serve squeeze packs of the Justin's brand PB or almond butter. A whole jar will be gone in a day lol.

They're rarely correct, lol. I found a "verified" entry in my log that was wrong just today. D'oh.

Lifted weights for 4 months straight. Hated every stinkin' minute of that crap. I stopped. Have done cardio consistently for 4 YEARS. Love every minute of it. Never gonna stop.

Because I'm in a wheelchair and exercise is a B-word and a half? Maybe...? Besides, I can eat a very comfortable amount BEFORE exercise that I'm constantly struggling to find ways to eat the calories from exercise now that I'm in maintenance. I still exercise, but ending the day gorging on healthy fats is tiresome.

Yes... exactly that. It is never about what you can't do. It's always about what you can, 'cause what you CAN do is what will get you somewhere. Obviously I can't do exercises that involve standing, so I don't do 'em. All my strength training is on the floor, or sitting on a bench. I use dumbbells and kettlebells.

Ironclad willpower I like to call it, haha.

Oh, no doubt about it happiness level is cranked up to maximum now! I didn't realize what good really felt like until I lost the weight and realized how miserable I WAS. Those photos emphasize the point really well.

I just have to remember how miserable I was back then, and I immediately snap out of whatever rut I may be in. I've definitely gained back a significant amount over those 4 years (about 20 lbs here and there), but I ALWAYS bounce back. I just can't let myself go back permanently. The colder/darker months are always a…

@cindyangotti go right ahead. Sometimes you need to see someone in the same position you are to finally know you can do it too.

My BodyMedia FIT seems to believe I burn an average of 745 calories from exercise (65 minutes of cardio a day). My TDEE is somewhere in the realm of 2700-2800 and I eat 2450-2550.

I've had it two days in a row. It tastes like a white cake with vanilla frosting and rainbow sprinkles. The raspberry whip cream adds a nice touch. I like it.

Not only did I eat cake, I ate 3/4 of the entire cake my damn self.

I lost over 40 lbs eating nothing but microwave dinners...
