  • It makes great chicken breasts (bone in and skin.) Just salt, pepper and garlic powder. Cook skin side down, then turn half way through. The skin comes out super crispy and much faster than baking. About 12 min per side.

  • Consensus from most videos i view is that fat% goal is only important to reach ketosis. After that, eat enough fat so you dont get hungry between meals, but not hitting % fat goal means your body has to take it from your fat stores. Which is our goal after all.

  • I am doing IF mostly for weight loss (at least at this point.) I'm trying to aim for 12-16 hours by not eating breakfast. I do enjoy my cup of tea in the morning tho with 1 T heavy cream, so this video was encouraging. I can see if I had multiple teas, that this could be self-defeating.

  • Went to Chick fil a today and had 8 grilled nuggets on side salad (didn't add bell pepper topper) and half packet of avocado lime dressing. The salad came up as 2 carbs but that seems high for a small bowl of lettuce and a sprinkle if cheddar cheese.

  • Most people for keto use under 20 carbs or 5-10% of calories. Then there are people who just look at total carbs and others (like me) who use net carbs (which is total carbs minus the fiber.) People who are just low carb, not keto, often have higher carbs.

  • Yes, they do seem to all be very calorie dense. I think I may just stick to the easy mug version when I'm really just craving a proper sandwich. Most the time I'm happy without the bread.

  • I tried this one. The recipe only made 4 small rolls. The weird thing is they didn't rise at all. So they came out about the size and shape of a homemade peanut butter cookie. I think maybe it just needed more baking powder?
  • Quest chips are really good for when you want crunch. Similar texture to asian rice crackers. I like the Cheese Wisps too but can only eat a few (not a bad thing!)

  • Thanks! I like that it doesn't have so many eggs in it. Some have 6 or more eggs for a small loaf of bread. I don't have any macadamia or almond butter. I wonder how peanut butter would taste? Probably too strong a flavor. I might make it today.
